      Well workers see Safety as a burden, don't understand it is better for them. I am a supervisor in workshop and 50 manpower working under me. I warned them many times if they don't work with safety I will fire them, but they don't listen. They say it is difficult to work by wearing safety equipment. If company force them with safety, they just break the safety equipment and say it is broken so we will not use it give us new one, if we give them new. They break it again.

    • @realulli
      @realulli ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don't think anything is sped up. Time is money and they do stuff as fast as they can. Actually, some of the large stuff looks slow, but that is due to the cutting speed of the tool/material combination - that is always the same, whether it is small or large. The tiny stuff just looks fast because it has to rotate fast to get the same speed relative to the tool (I once visited a large steel mill where they were turning some piece that had several feet in diameter. It spun at maybe 4 rpm...
      Also that bending/casting stuff - tiny stuff is easy to get fast, for larger stuff it's really hard. You might want to visit Munro Live, the channel of a mechanical engineer. He has a rather long video where he was visiting Idra, the company making the gigacasting machines for Tesla. Apparently, casting 1/3 of the frame of a car is a non-trivial exercise...

      With a Constitution
      that has lasted 240 plus years.
      Why does he and the media violate it under this administration.
      Power corrupts completely

      There's a really, really, common misconception that proper safety will increase costs. Turns out that when appropriately applied it reduces costs. There's tons of data that shows this, but it's hard to convince people. You have to make safety a culture. The good news is that wages are rising worldwide and quality, renewability, and safety are all becoming more mainstream. (Source: my modern manufacturing class at university)

      @@AimeeAimee444 it's not just a "man" thing. Machines usually do the same thing over and over again for the most part. What about people getting fatigued towards the end of the day or those who didn't get enough sleep the previous night? I'll bet they don't make a video showing all the accidents they've had using such unsafe techniques.
