⚠️Post edit note: I said in the video that you don’t receive interest on the LISA after age 50, this is incorrect. To note, you still get interest on savings in the LISA, you just don’t receive the 25% gov bonus after that point. I have put a link in the description to the LISA gov page for more information. Apologies for the mistake and thanks to those who pointed it out. One lesson I've learned from millionaires is to always put your money to work, no matter how small. Even investing $100 per month can compound to tremendous wealth over decades. The key is to keep going!
My advice for who wants to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Thanks to my financial advisor, my portfolio is thriving, and I'm proud of last year's decisions.
People often don't realize how important financial advisors are. Data from the last 50 years shows that people who work with advisors usually earn more than those who don't. I've worked with a financial advisor for 13 years, and now I have a $2 million portfolio.
Annette Christine Conte is her name. She is regarded as a genius in her area and works for Empower Financial Services. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
The economy is grappling with uncertainties, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.
Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, but it's getting stronger compared to other currencies and things like gold and property. People are turning to the dollar because they think it's safer. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of high inflation. Where else can we keep our money?
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
My CFA ’Melissa Jean Talingdan’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Thanks for the advice. The search for your coach was simple. I investigated her well before using her services. Considering her résumé, she appears competent.
You work for a 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a bitcion coin for just fe months and now they are multimillionaires thanks to Charlotte Grace Miller
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I want to explore investment opportunities, but I'm uncertain about the first steps. Can you offer any guidance or introduce me to someone in your network who could provide valuable insights and support?
For the younger people, don't put your money in premium bonds, that's basically time out of the market. If you're young you have time on your side, invest the money in an index fund instead.
Plus - LISA’s are assessed individually. Regardless of your partners property previous property ownership, you can use the LISA as a first time buyer..
@@pancioherv5781 lol. I wish I was under 40 to get a LISA. The only way to get the government 25% bonus now is opening a SIPP. Already have 3 DB pensions, so no point contributing extra, as it's based on final/average salary.
Not a fan of premium bonds. Had 40k in for just over 2.5 years. Total winnings were less than £250 during the whole period. So, absolutely no guarantee of any return. I knew this going in, I'd just parked it there from my recovered Icelandic based ISAs in 2008/9 before deciding to move it on.
@MitchShoesmith just my experience. Possibly, I'm not someone with average luck, lol. I think the general thrust of what you are communicating is positive. I'm sadly very late to the self investing world, having been burnt badly during the 2008 crash. I'm now too close to retirement to take big risks and heavily into cash with currently a t212 cash isa and then using surplus monthly income to fund a ftse all world etf. The isas being my tax free withdrawal funds during retirement. So I need some growth in the mix, especially when interest rates fall closer to inflation levels.
Would you recommend investing in one ETF or making a pie of EFTs to diversify the market? I’m new to investing and I’m torn and don’t know which strategy would reap the highest rewards
Hi Mitch- I've had multiple pensions over the last 10 years from different organizations I have worked for. How can I consolidate them all into one "pot" so I can keep track of them? Who effectively "holds the funds" - is it the pension company themselves?
Hey and thanks for the video. Are those yearly returns on your stock investments? Might be worth making clear whether they are 1y, 6months or whatever - or since inception of your account, which we don't know? Thank you
Sorry, but you can't "expect" to win £440 pa with Premium Bonds. There is no guarantee that you will win any prize but perhaps you meant to say that you could expect to win "on average" £440pa, with average luck.

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

When it comes to investing, it's very wise to seek professional advice to ensure a strong financial portfolio.
Consulting with financial advisors, such as Eleanor Perkins can help provide valuable insights to reshape and strengthen your portfolio.
With her guidance, I was able to allocate my $25k portfolio across a variety of markets, aiming to diversify and optimize my investment strategy
Investing in high dividend yield stocks, ETFs, and equity was honestly a great move, resulting in a net profit of around $115k for me.
Eleanor Perkins' realistic approach makes her a standout amongst brokers, who often set unrealistic expectations and fail to meet them

I would agree ☺️
With LISAs, you can no longer put money in at age 50, which means you don't get the 25% government bonus. You still get interest on the account.
You're correct. At the moment the moneybox cash LISA has 4.4% interest 👍
@showady i think he thinks the 25% is the interest.

Stocks & bonds only way to go. Weight them according to your age
Fair enough, and super helpful to have a proper case study too, sounds like they may not be all they’re cracked up to be!

I’m gonna yolo it into a low index fund within my SIPP.
80% global growth
20% global dividend
That’s an instant 2.5k
And 30 years worth of compound.
Does anyone have any more info on the stocks and shares Lisa mentioned? I have never seen one, any examples of who offers them? Thanks!

Fair enough - in that case you’d be better off chucking it in a cash ISA as a low risk investment!
Easy 5k into an isa and 500 quid shares across 10 stocks
