Ok… I have actually been trying to compare these three models, myself. Your review was thorough, detailed, well-versed, and covered all the bases. You have the best hands-on reviews. Job well done and I became a subscriber as a result. Thanx!!!
By the way, does anyone remember in the late 80's, maybe early 90's, where a gym infomercial or commercial would play for about half an hour or so, but would go in a loop? Was a whole in home gym. A young nicely sculpted man would use the machine, then presumably his also nicely sculpted girlfriend would use it. Could do pull up, but also used really thick resistance bands instead of actual weights for every thing else. Not sure if it was Nordic Track or Gold's Gym or what.
An honest to God review of exercise equipment and not just a woman in sexy clothing trying to sell you her wares. Very knowledgeable and not too hard on the eyes as well. But let's get that running speed to 20 MPH though. 😅
Love, love, love your reviews. Completely unbiased, fact-based and user-oriented. Amazingly done, and wish other equipment reviewers would watch to see how it's done (or should be done). I think I'm sold on the 2450 (once it becomes available here in Canada), but wish you also had a similar review of the Horizon trinity (7.0, 7.4, 7.8). This was the fastest I have ever subscribed to a channel. Keep it up!!!
Thanks for your feedback! We do have a review of the Horizon 7.8 AT but we haven't been able to get the other two models into our studio. We're hoping we can make that happen soon. Thanks for following along!
will you do this same video for the newer models? they made some changes i think would be worth reviewing. i am about to buy one of these and was looking for reviews on the newer ones.
I was wondering if you knew what the typical lifespan of these treadmills is? I am on the market for a new one as I had a Trimline for nearly 20 years and the only reason I am getting a new one is the circuit board went out and we can get a replacement. I have been looking at the NordicTrack and was curious as to how long they typically last. For reference, I am primarily a walker, but I walk almost daily anywhere from 3-4 miles.
It's hard to say since some treadmills will last 20+ years and others may have a shorter lifespan based on location, humidity, and other factors. However, each of the NT treadmills comes with a 10 year warranty on the frame and motor. When used correctly, longevity on these treadmills is typically close to 10 years.
This is a perfect break down on all 3! I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to purchase the 3 year extended warranty for the 2950 treadmill, it would extend it to 5 yr for parts and 4 yr labor. It would be an extra $229.95. Any suggestions?
I am 5'1". I found the 2450 difficult to see in the store. Does the 2950 have an adjustable screen or does the machine sides adjust to make it lower for short people?
Incredible review and I'm not exaggerating. I've just bought the Nordictrack s45i but after seeing this review,I'm going to cancel my order and buy the Nordictrack 2450. Why? Because I broke my heel 4 years ago and I need an extra cushioning. If the 2950 is better in that aspect, please let me know. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! And we appreciate your kind words. The 2450 and the 2950 have the same cushioning on these models so you don't need to worry about going up to the 2950 unless you want the larger screen. What country are you located in? I'm happy to send you a link for your purchase if you wouldn't mind supporting our channel by purchasing through our link?
@@TreadmillReviewGuru Hi,I' m Spain. To tell you the truth, it's a real pleasure to see your videos. I've always admire how clear, brief and relevant are people belonging to Anglo-American culture at the time of presenting information both speaking and writing. To my misfortune, the Nordictrack 2450 is discontinued in Spain,so I'm going to buy the Nordictrack 1750 trademiill 2021 version. The Nordictrack 2950 2021 version costs 633 $ more.Do you think it's worth the extra money considering I'm only going to run in the trademiill from time to time ?
@@samsargdong1135 I think the 1750 should be just fine if you are only going to use it from time to time and if you don't mind a smaller 10-inch screen versus a 22-inch one.
Thanks for watching our review. We haven't personally tested any Landice treadmills but from what we've researched they are really nice, high quality machines. Did you have a specific machine in mind?
They're really comparable considering the new 2450 now has the same 22" touch screen as the 2950. The new 2450 has a new streamlined design that's functional but doesn't offer as much storage as the 2950. You also can't play music and content on your device through the speakers on the new 2450 like you can on the 2950. The motor on the new 2450 is smaller than the previous 2450 model, but it performs and is as quiet as the previous model. So, the new 2450's motor isn't quite as powerful as the 2950, but it still can handle running and a lot of use. The new 2450's screen pivots side to side and tilts up and down for iFit classes on and off the treadmill. If you want to take a wide variety of iFit's classes and prefer the new look then I would go with the new 2450, but if you want a more powerful motor then go with the 2950.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru can you stream your own Bluetooth through the treadmill? Ie if I want to connect my iPad to the treadmill Bluetooth to stream a peloton class.
I'm trying to choose between the 1750 and the 2450. I love the larger screen on the 2450 however the 1750 is less expensive. I want to do the iFit programs for sure. Does anyone know if I can use iFit on a regular Roku tv as I have an extra one that I was thinking of hanging on the wall in front of my treadmill and doing the iFit programs from the tv. If I'm able to do iFit on the tv, I could then purchase the 1750 and use the TV on the wall for my iFit programs along with regular tv watching. Also, wondering if I can watch the iFit programs on both the tv and the treadmill at the same time since I'm thinking that the treadmill automatically adjusts the incline during the iFit program to match the ground you are walking/running on. Thanks for any feedback!
If you are able to download the iFit app on your TV, you should be able to access some classes and content. We've found that the digital iFit app library is different from what is available on the treadmill - you may be able to find the same program, but they're organized differently. Also, we've attempted to synchronize two different treadmills to watch the same program while moving between one treadmill and the other, and it's pretty hard to get them to match up. You may be able to watch iFit on a smart TV, but it won't sync with your treadmill, so the automation won't be available, and it would be hard to get the treadmill program and TV app to line up perfectly.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru thanks for the reply! I could probably just use the treadmill to walk/run while watching the trail and scenery on the tv and ifit app on a roku. I’ll have to look into this further
Saw a TH-cam comment that they used to have an HDMI which they removed from the newer models. Is this true? If so, it's a shame because I was thinking about hooking a projector up to make iFit super immersive.
Yes, that feature was removed, but we found the tethering feature to have a significant lag that made it not really usable. The screens on these machines (especially the 2450 and 2950) are so large that you don't really need a larger TV screen.
I think you said, this is a good buy if you plan on using iFit,I guess Sole would be better if I'm not particular for IFIT. I want to just sometimes do training video and then other time just watch a movie.
Great reviews (5 stars). NordicTrack released new commercial 2450 and 1750 treadmills this new year. Can you review the 2450? I am about to purchase a 2450, but I want to hear what you have to say first. Thanks.

Is it possible to mute the trainers voices on ifit programs so you can just walk/run the videos in peace and quiet? Do the treadmills allow you to mute them?
Yes - the volume has dual controls so you can turn the music up and the trainer all the way down if you'd like. You can also turn the music down and the trainer volume up.
I have the 2022 Nordictrack 2450 treadmill...and after 5 months...mine has started to FULL STOP very suddenly in the middle of a run. It happens regularly. Usually, at high sprints, it goes black and turns off. Circuits in my house are fine, it's the circuit in the machine that throws. I've called a dozen times and they've given me as many "fixes" for it (dedicated circuit, lube, take the hood off, live video assessments, various speeds, various times of day, various temperatures, etc.). Nothing works. I showed them a video...now they want me to sign a release of liability before they'll send someone to come look at it. Like they're holding me hostage. Great treadmill if it works...terribly dangerous if it does what mine is doing. Still not fixed...5 months in...still paying it off...doesn't work...no support. So bummed.
Don't buy anything NordicTrack !!! I have a 2450 treadmill and after one year it needs a new console, the fans stopped working and the service after the sale is non-existant. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get help and finally they hung up on me. I also have a recumbent bike that has been a trouble maker since it was brand new. The console quit on that and even the repair man has no idea what the deal is with it. Both units were less than a year old when they broke down, and I've been working to resolve this for the last two months. Spend more money are buy quality, you'll be a lot happier!
If you purchase the machine from Nordictrack, it includes a code to get iFit free for the first year. In order to access all the workouts, you have to set up an iFit account using that code. As long as you remember to cancel the subscription before the end of that first year, you won't be charged. Without iFit you still have access to workouts and outdoor routes - but not the full library. You do have to set up an iFit account initially to unlock the machine.
