Jesus loving man
I get to call him Dad
I’m glad I was an angel child
Well that’s just a joke
I had a will that won’t be broke
Even through the messy teens
He would pull the Bible out
And teach to me Psalm 150
He was never complaining
He’s just fulfilling his promise
Providing a way
Now time keeps flying by
With each calendar year
There goes a little of life
But I know the Jesus you taught
So I’ll cherish these moments
Till eternity starts.
