    I have been using ring for 5 years the Ring Protect is worth it not only does it work for the footage but it extendeds all your devices under the plan with a life time warranty! I had two ring doorbells die one on the front door and one on my side door. They were the orginal doorbell they made which were 720p and had battery issues. They replaced both last year with the newest release which has 1080p and few more motion options. The replacment was absolutely free because of the Ring protect plan!

      Can you add after the fact or only to protect whatever camera is new?

    Definitely something I would get if I didn't already have my house hooked up. Nice review 😃😃👍👍

    Still using my older Ring cameras for over 5 years and they are still holding strong.

    Great review. I use the motion sensor on the Ring/Eufy cameras to trigger Govee lights to change the lighting color based on the zones I set up, so I know where the motion is located. I also have them stream to my Echo device, but the turning the Govee lights on is a quick representation of where there's motion while I am opening the app and/or waiting on Alexa to show the live feed.

    You completely missed discussing the battery. How do you charge it? What's its life? Is it a pain given where it might be mounted for access. Pretty important stuff given the battery is one of its major differences

      Fair ball. It charges but popping the battery out the bottom of the device, bringing it into the house and charging with an included micro USB cable. I have had the batteries in these last three or four months with reasonable daily triggering.

      @@ErinLawrenceTV Great review overall and thanks for expanding on the battery info. Is that 3-4 months with the single battery or with two batteries installed? I'm likely getting these but debating between going wireless, solar, or just drilling into to the wall to tap into power.

      @@GranTigerGamingI'm going with 2 batteries and also connecting the solar panel 2 which is usb-c which you need for the Cam Pro 😊

    Can you add door sensors and window sensors to those cameras I'm looking for a standalone camera for indoors that I can add door sensors and window sensors to . Do you have any suggestions thank you.

    does the Pro offer pre-roll recording? Also if i buy battery version i have USB-C wire in the spot where camera would be so can i hook up USB-C and top off the batteries while in camera from time to time without removing and charging process?

    Does this security camera record 24/7? or only when motion is detected for 20 seconds or so... ?

    • @ErinLawrenceTV
      @ErinLawrenceTV  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will record snapshots all the time, but it only records video when it detects motion.

    How can you not talk about the spotlight? Is it strong? Is it clear?

    If you are looking for a "con" - Ring cameras aren't supported by Synology's Surveillance Station system.
