Is it just me or is the sound a bit low?
yes, a little low
yes, a little low, I second that
this is a very interesting video! You should make an update for 2023
I've already seen maybe two in Belgium, quite rare tho but often disguise it as "new technology". Existing projects 2 years young or less, could contain Blazor.
Been looking for a job for 2 years with no experience, got 1 chance where I would get €900 for the first 6 months, which won't pay the bills... If they don't put newcomers to work, the job is in danger of extinction in the future. ..
Id invest in creating a portfolio and look for jobs that are entry or internship. They dont pay much, but 900 euro is really bad. Another route you can take is try freelancing or contracting to build up your skills or portfolio.
After 4 years the take up still seems very low. I’d love to see it do better, especially when used with Maui. Would be great to be able to write mobile and web apps using one platform and language.
Ya thats true, i understand the feeling but remember theres a lot of competition compared to before. Unfortunately the chance to dominate the sphere was taken by JS because microsoft just didnt have the technology needed to compete in the SPA areas although they still have a massive corporate presence with .net in general. But I think the future for .net developers is Blazor because of their plan to have .net be a unifying framework so Blazor and MAUI are a natural choice for the future of application development.
Nice video idea. Appreciate this.
I think Blazor has a future for sure. For people like me, who are very experienced at backend, but lack front end experience Blazor is amazing. I can stay within my comfort zone, don't need to context switch and can create decent looking UI's very fast.
So far I think Blazor is mainly used for creating tools within a big project to support some work processes. I think Blazor needs a bit more to grow but we will be getting there.
