The cards that I couldn’t look away from was deck 1, and it’s insane how much it resonated with my current situation. My biggest dilemma right now is that I didn’t get accepted to a nursing school I applied to (I received the letter yesterday). Before I received the letter, I was thinking to myself: “If I don’t get in, I’m taking this as a sign to go elsewhere/ out of state.” I felt the (multiple) rejections is leading me in another direction, since I’ve been trying to apply to schools only in California. I’ve always felt torn between the 2 paths (for years), staying in California or sacrificing a few years to leave and reach my goal out of state. Part of me feels held back b/c of stability and how all of my family is in California. I’m afraid to leave! I swear your reading gave me goosebumps. I picked group 3 and almost everything you said resonates with me and my current goals. I recently got out of a 17 months relationship with someone I thought would be my soulmate because we were best friends and partners and our bond, for me was unreplaceable. The person has a lot of wounds in their past that they refused to heal and so did I. We ended up hurting each other nearing the end of our relationship. This was amazing. During the deep breaths, I truly felt grounded and it had never happened to me before. I chose the second reading and it could not have been more on point. I am healing from trauma, about to experience huge moves in my life, trying to stay aware and embrace it all without fear but the other night I had a two hour panic attack, many more hours after to process. I was aware that it would pass but I had to ride out the emotions regardless, and to explicitly frame that as a breakthrough is powerful. I had an hour long conversation last night about how I don't trust myself, I literally journaled that a full page earlier today. When the trust card came up, my jaw dropped. I am always looking to expand myself, in my exact wording actually, but because I struggle with asserting myself I still have to learn trust to rebel and master my own destiny. I've been reading a lot about repression in my cultural studies course and also reading Jung when I can. The cards that I couldn’t look away from was deck 1, and it’s insane how much it resonated with my current situation. My biggest dilemma right now is that I didn’t get accepted to a nursing school I applied to (I received the letter yesterday). Before I received the letter, I was thinking to myself: “If I don’t get in, I’m taking this as a sign to go elsewhere/ out of state.” I felt the (multiple) rejections is leading me in another direction, since I’ve been trying to apply to schools only in California.
I’ve always felt torn between the 2 paths (for years), staying in California or sacrificing a few years to leave and reach my goal out of state.
Part of me feels held back b/c of stability and how all of my family is in California. I’m afraid to leave! I’ll be afraid to miss out on family events, spending time with people I love, missing my dog (who is still young and turning 2 this year) ! I swear your reading gave me goosebumps. I picked group 3 and almost everything you said resonates with me and my current goals. I recently got out of a 17 months relationship with someone I thought would be my soulmate because we were best friends and partners and our bond, for me was unreplaceable. The person has a lot of wounds in their past that they refused to heal and so did I. We ended up hurting each other nearing the end of our relationship. That person ended up feeling lost with what they wanted and they ended up cheating on me emotionally. I chose the second reading and it could not have been more on point. I am healing from trauma, about to experience huge moves in my life, trying to stay aware and embrace it all without fear but the other night I had a two hour panic attack, many more hours after to process. I was aware that it would pass but I had to ride out the emotions regardless, and to explicitly frame that as a breakthrough is powerful. I had an hour long conversation last night about how I don't trust myself, I literally journaled that a full page earlier today. When the trust card came up, my jaw dropped. I am always looking to expand myself, in my exact wording actually, but because I struggle with asserting myself I still have to learn trust to rebel and master my own destiny. I've been reading a lot about repression in my cultural studies course and also reading Jung when I can. I have been journaling about what it means to live in accordance with myself for months now and to have it show up in this reading as precisely as it did is amazing. I have been trying to push back on labels and break categorization. I want to take responsibility for who I am but that is scary. It is a long process but your reading was on point and encouraging. I find it interesting how I felt called to watch first the third reading and then the first reading. Both are very different but necessary to acknowledge as they both are relative to my present situation. They also had an underlying theme of working on myself: my trust in myself and doing the shadow work so I can understand where the shadow parts stem from.
