Only about four of our free agents this year have been signed with other teams. About 10 of them are still jobless. That how great he was at roster building. Such depth! A High draft pick, $$ to use in free agency for a lot of players, and then if they can sign as many UDFA players, it sets up depth. Well, having just watched the Ravens demolish the Jets, I think we can agree on two things: 1) The Jets really are that bad under Adam Gase. 2) Given who three of their five wins were against, the NFC East is even worse.
One thing that is overlooked about gase is he likes to bring in guys that play multiple positions. I don't think that is an effective strategy by any means but it is Gase's favorite... bring in versatile players instead players that are very good playing THEIR position.
