There are always going to be people that are discontent. They complain about automatic weapons. Well if there were only bolt action, you would complain about that too. They complain about tanks OP. Maybe you should try disabling it's weapon turrets before disabling the tank. They complain about horses being too hard to kill. My question is, WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL AN INNOCENT HORSE? Shoot the bad guy, and steal that lovely beast. I do agree some things need tweaking: revives especially. But good grief, it's an awesome game and I'm having a blast playing it. And can we all just agree the sandstorm is amazing?
Alright but let's get real, the horses have like about the same health as the light tanks but they heal over time. 33 dmg from a tankgewher when you shoot the horse is a little underwhelming
I agree, and I love the new vehicle physics. I don't like the sandstorm tbh but still fun and cool. The only problem I have with this game are the weapons. I dont like the variants, I want to freely customize it like in Bf4. but the game is so enjoyable lol.

This beta has ups and downs, so this is my opinion: -The Map: Its fine, but there are a lot of campers making it a less enjoyable experience. -The Guns: They are good, but I can't stand the Lewis Gun. -The Classes: Finally the assault is not that OP -The Graphics: Its a DICE game. -The Vehicles: OP -The Modes: I don't like how they made conquest and as for rush, its bo..zzzzzz -The Experience: A lot of glitches and bugs, such as DirectX errors... Overall: 6/10 Decent for a beta, with not game-breaking bugs, but vehicles are OP and the map is less prefer-able than the Alpha map
give the beta a good try, its still a beta after all so many things could change and why compare the map to bf4's silk road, it's not like silk road at all it's its own game - they used the battlefront engine because it was the most up-to-date and polished engine created by DICE so far which is why it looks similar and has similar ideas like the juggernaut pick-ups (but they're not easy to use and dont guarantee a huge K/d increase, unlike Vader did in battlefront) imo the bayonet charge is a fair mechanic - the player is forced to sprint fast doing nothing else and it sacrifices their ability to sprint for a few moments after if they dont hit anyone. so, in short, if someone hits you with a bayonet charge, you probably should've seen it coming and done something about it. WHEREAS the counterknife in bf4 was ridiculous - all the player getting knifed had to do was spam the melee button and they'd be rewarded with killing the courageous player who had tried to knife them in the first place the guns arent bad -_- you clearly dont know how to use them effectively yet which is understandable considering how much you seem to like bf4 and this game is quite different - but to me at least, it still feels like Battlefield and the guns feel great, the map is awesome and the glitches in the beta are expected its a bloody beta
They need to fix the reviving for medic, nerf scouts snipers, nerf the light tank, buff support. Then this game will have a great balance. Id give the beta 8/10. In the final game if they fix the bugs and balance out the game, it will easily be a 9 or a 10 if singleplayer is good.
the fact that you said campers make it less enjoyable makes me pissed because if there weren't a few campers there will be no snipers and everyone would rush around the map like COD without thinking and not communicating with there team

Even I thought it was a bug but I just played and kept playing and I finally ranked up my support, getting to rank 1 takes longer than getting to rank 3 so dont worry, just keep playing, youll level up at around rank 25 if you played with the same class, also I ranked up my cavalry kit even though there are no customisation right now.
all these people know nothing about world war 1 and tactics to use. like for example when taking the train with a plane fly as high as possible and than engage in a steep dive on the train but keep in the sun so that it hides you while you dive (that is for fighters only). it helps to know war tactics. although in the actual war you couldnt pull to sudden maneuvers or else you would pretty much fall out of the sky this is a video game so they will not make that a thing in the game so you wouldnt have to worry.
So far Im loving the game, but Light Tanks are completely overpowered. Anti-Tank Grenades are underwhelming. Sinai Desert is a fucking sniper/tank fest. But Game is so good and satisfying. Favorite Weapon is the M1909 Benet Mercie.
I don't think the landship and heavy tank are OP since it's easy to get in a blind spot and rip their asshole open. But the light tank is the most ridiculously powerful thing ever.

Honestly BF1 feels like casualfield, the guns just dont work at range at all and snipers have more range than ever with the reduced bullet drop and increased velocity, I feel this makes full auto players move in at extreme close ranges because the spread on the autos and even semi autos is so big, this makes all players fight at very close range almost eliminating skill gap, the vehicles are OP also, mainly tanks, im also very worried about the jet players, the planes go so slow I feel there may no longer be skilled dogfights for those players. Believe me I didn't want this game to suck, I was so hyped for TF2, BF1 and almost not at all for modern warfare remastered, but now im most hyped for MWR and thats just sad to me. The game feels like battlefront in many ways and thats not good, at this rate it looks like this game is gonna be a massive flop the 1 time battlefield really needed to win over the new players, I think im just gonna leave the beta alone for now and play my ea access 10 hour trial on release and make a decision then.

Hey lvl cap, you know that the horses can drop health and ammo. You can drop them if you are low on any of those and Regency health for you or the horse and ammo for the rifle.

It's realy new game with BF principles but almost everyting changed - planes different, tanks different, guns, bullet cap and velocity, gadgets, almost everything. I am looking forward to buy it and play it.
It's hard for me to learn how to fly aircraft when playing on my ps4. I can't get used to the controls even when I switch a setting to veteran. Hopefully there's a test range like in battlefielld 4.

I would say learn to outflank them. Do some loopty loops or some shit and continually spin until you get on his tail. Try and mow him down in third person, and you may get him.

I've played a shit ton of bf1 (I'm level 41) and I've yet to unlock anything. the only progress I've mad is ranking up and somehow my scout class is in level three so It's great that I have access to all the snipers but I am still missing out of everything else. Please help and thank you.
There's a bug and glitch where the game only counts your first game's progress when joining a new server. I wouldn't worry about it though just play the game normally
+Vidde Järv you have to buy gear in the loadout screen with war bonds you get 90 every time you rank up to unlock other stuff like class weapons and gadgets you have to rank up your classes but it's bugged at the moment.
I think all vehicles (including behemoths) should have limited ammunition and ordnance so they have to return to spawn/airfield to re-arm, it's a lot better that way. Or maybe bring up a supply truck to ease the job.
How do u change the type of plane u want Because I don't see alternate versions of the fighter with the missiles or the attack plane that shoots armor piercing rounds
How do you equip buy and equip the other weapons for the planes? I was only able to buy it from within the website, but in the game there's no way to equip them?
Does it seem like there is less Airplane damage than there was in the Alpha map? In the Alpha, you could see pieces of the wing and other things come off the plane.

noriah swagington You can get away with it with the guy with the tank rifle and if lucky the heavy MG class if he misses enough while you're charging him. I've been killed in a head on charge as the heavy MG class once already. He can't ADS on his MG.
Horses are fun but that sword doesn't need a hit radius the size of North America

I unlocked it. You must select assault kit and press customize and then go to gadgets or whatever and unlock it from there for 30 cash I believe.
it can be unlocked at battlefield.com and you can prety much solo kill a tank with it, once every one has it tanks will no longer be OP

Only the weapons are good tbh but every battlefield is the same having to play 1 game then get bored of it
Aside from the horse which is great, BF1 is pretty dull. The air combat is pretty ass.

Mostly people who never played BF1 creating flame, because they saw it on YT only. Almost anyone who played BF1 Beta had a real fun in the game. As me as well. It is NOT reskin of Battlefront, also this is NOT reskin of previous BF. It's realy new game with BF principles but almost everyting changed - planes different, tanks different, guns, bullet cap and velocity, gadgets, almost everything. I am looking forward to buy it and play it.
It's hard for me to learn how to fly aircraft when playing on my ps4. I can't get used to the controls even when I switch a setting to veteran. Hopefully there's a test range like in battlefielld 4.
use the southpaw sticks, it makes it a lot easier

Just try set it to BF3 controls as that had the best control period, no idea why DICE would change it from game to game

i honestly like how there are a lot more draws, more realistic towards WW1, and yes i know its not supposed to be realistic but i still like it.

i rly suck with the planes, mind doing some tipps n tricks for airvehicels in bf1?
I would say learn to outflank them. Do some loopty loops or some shit and continually spin until you get on his tail. Try and mow him down in third person, and you may get him.
get a controller if you are on pc it's way easier

Whats up with the movement system? I've never played battlefront or anything is it new? I love BF3 & 4 but it seems way different, not really complaining just confused.
The animation for the movement is similar to battlefront. But overall its not to different.
Could just be the FOV making things look faster in first person.
@levelcapgaming how do you fly so easily? when i try to use the mouse it jerks back and i have to keep picking up my mouse and move it to compensate but it looks like u just move your mouse barely and it sticks.

How do I get battlefield 1 to scan for new controllers? I want to use my joystick but even though it's plugged in and works in other games, the key bindings for it are greyed out and it doesn't respond in game. I believe I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight X.

I've played a shit ton of bf1 (I'm level 41) and I've yet to unlock anything. the only progress I've mad is ranking up and somehow my scout class is in level three so It's great that I have access to all the snipers but I am still missing out of everything else.

There's a bug and glitch where the game only counts your first game's progress when joining a new server. I wouldn't worry about it though just play the game normally

They say you should switch servers after every game so that you can level up your classes individually
+Vidde Järv you have to buy gear in the loadout screen with war bonds you get 90 every time you rank up to unlock other stuff like class weapons and gadgets you have to rank up your classes but it's bugged at the moment.

I think all vehicles (including behemoths) should have limited ammunition and ordnance so they have to return to spawn/airfield to re-arm, it's a lot better that way. Or maybe bring up a supply truck to ease the job.

when you click on a place it shows 3 icons like where your weapons would be and those are the different planes

How do you equip buy and equip the other weapons for the planes? I was only able to buy it from within the website, but in the game there's no way to equip them?
Does it seem like there is less Airplane damage than there was in the Alpha map? In the Alpha, you could see pieces of the wing and other things come off the plane.
Levelcap, what do you think of the big Killstreak bonus? And after the round the 'trigger happy' and 'KD ratio' stats? Do you think this will have a negative influence on the game?

I like flying in bf1. I especially love crashing headfirst into enemy bombers just to spite the people in them.
The trick to taking out elite units is bayonet charge, they usually can't kill you quick enough if you catch em by surprise.
The flamethrower class can. The range and damage it puts out will stop you dead during a charge at him, gotta charge him from behind.

You can get away with it with the guy with the tank rifle and if lucky the heavy MG class if he misses enough while you're charging him. I've been killed in a head on charge as the heavy MG class once already. He can't ADS on his MG.
