Great video. I had to do a headlight assembly replacement today on my car. I did NOT have to remove the bumper thankfully. Looked kinda complicated to get it back on by myself. Just removed the grill, did the replacement and put everything back on. No issues. Thanks again for the video.

Is there a reason everyone takes the bumper fully off? The grill assembly is separate from the bumper and the final screw is behind the grill. Wouldn’t it be easier and faster to just remove the grill and not the whole bumper?
If you've found this video because you would like to replace a burned out headlight or turn signal, you do not need to remove the entire headlight assembly to do so. You can replace the bulbs through access ports in the back of the headlight assemblies without needing to remove the assemblies themselves. Jesus Christ…… yeah, I’m not doing all that. I’ll just take it to the shop. Thought it would be a simple 5 minute thing I could do to in a parking lot somewhere.
Does the headlight assembly come off WITHOUT taking off the bumper? If not, it seems that Audi engineers designed that system . . . I mean, $3000 for an oil change? 🤣
I took my headlights without removing my bumper sometimes other people rely on videos but i dont and nothing broke but they do extra work for no reason

Could you please show how to replace the HID lamp / bulb within the headlight assembly? No one show this critical part. Thanks

Is this a similar Strategy for a 2014 passat?
You got to do all of that to replace a head light bulb
