MPW is giving everyone extremely simple and delicious recipes, with some tips and techniques to learn along the way, and on top of that, he's humble enough to always say, this didn't require skill, unlike many chefs who when they cook they want you to believe it takes only a great chef to do what they did.... yet everyone here is busy making stockpot jokes... this is made for home cooking, and many of us use stockpot and stock cubes way before MPW ever did a video about it... he's basically showing how to cook a tasty meal with your usual at home ingredients... you may like that, you may not, its your choice really.

I love when he says "if we're really honest"...he says it in every video. Gotta admit the dude truly loves cooking and that's why he rocks. Stays honest to the food. Outside of his Knorr's contract of course.

Knorr stock pots and cubes aren't available in my part of the world but I use powdered boullion in many dishes. It can be put into shakers and sprinkled. Definitely recommend! Thanks Marco 👍
@@CAG2 The water in liquid form will be at 100 C but the bottom of the pan is solid metal and can reach much higher temperatures. Try boiling tomato sauce for too long, you will see it stick to the bottom of the pan even though it's pretty much just water. Also be aware that water in gaseous form can reach much higher than 100C

Also yes of course, if you boil tomato sauce for too long, enough water will have evaporated such that there isn't enough water in the sauce to keep itself from burning. As for gaseous water, it has a much lower density than normal water and due to buoyancy will float up. It won't get hot enough to sear anything anyways in a pan or pot.

Naturally you wouldn't want/need to use it in an restaurant situation where you are severely critical and creative over every single made-from-scratch recipe. He even says in other videos that it's the best choice for at-home cooking. All he is really trying to teach us is to just have a little bit of passion when you're cooking at home. A little bit of care over how it tastes, how it turns out, and enjoying it. He also offers alternative ingredients to suit a variety of flavors. He advises us that there are no rules and that it's all about making it the way YOU like it and to use these tips to bring some extra joy not only in the preparation but in the consuming of this dish you have worked diligently to make happen.
