As much as I loved their "are they or are they not" era, there's something really sweet about how they discuss their domestic life. It's just so... normal? And seems genuine.
there's courtney who talks about it like they have been talking about this for years and then there's shayne who can't stop blushing while even talking about the cats. IT'S SO CUTE
So sweet! He's the more private of them so it makes sense. But still
Shayne's take on morning gaming is so valid though. It feels so good to wake up early and play games because you can play for a couple hours and it will only be 9-10am, so much of the day left

I'm NOT a morning person, but when it happens that I go to bed very early because I don't feel well and wake up at 5 am on a saturday fully energized it's awesome to play 4 hours of any game and realize it's not even time to make lunch and I can get a second coffee guilt free... Big W feeling
Controversial take, but I think courthouse weddings/elopements are the most romantic. Two people who don’t care about spending a ton of money, or having a bunch of witnesses, who just want to make a commitment to each other and really really want to be married already so they make it happen! Yeah, that is so romantic. 😊
Same! The performative factor of many (not all, but many) big weddings has always made uncomfortable.
My partner's family are nice people, but southern baptist and a huge family who would be upset about us not mentioning God in our vows, so we've been discussing having a super small wedding with about 10 people and then doing a reception where they could pray for us and be happy, but one would be for us and the other would be for them. I love the intimacy of courthouse weddings/elopements for sure!
It's always parents that want a big wedding. In my country it's like 200 people. That's just insane. You'd see people that know you, but somehow you never heard about from anyone

I had (will have) both; I had a court wedding this april. Only present witnesses were our parents, siblings, and their partners and our closest friends that signed the documents with us. We will have a bigger party and a church ceremony in 2 weeks for our extended family and larger group of friends. So we got the best of both worlds. Reason behind this is, I really liked the date in april for our anniversary but we couldn't have a church wedding on it this year because it is in the middle of the week, and even if I don't have a big family, my husband has so it gave us couple of months more to prepare for the bigger event and not worry about legal aspects then. As well as we wanted to celebrate with everyone, but wanted something to be small and private.
Have i watched the podcast like 4 times? Yes. Am I going to watch a highlights compilation anyway? absolutely

@@ChrissaTodd for me it was always funny but for different reasons, it started as a funny April fools joke and then changed into a nervous kind of funny because the belief set in, and then it was funny to sit back and watch as everyone kept denying it

Because of them, I'm now really considering just having a small ceremony with only immediate family and close friends in attendance if ever I get married. Someone pointed out in the comment section of the OG video the perks of having a small wedding is that you can just focus on the small details that really matter, and that sounds so lovely to me.
My cousin did that when she got married. She and her husband brought their parents, her sibling, and his oldest and best friend and they had an officiant do the small ceremony, and they loved it. That's what i would do for my wedding. Just an elopement courthouse wedding

I remember seeing the post on the 1st thinking “wow, they really went all in on an April fools joke” then after a couple of minutes of looking at the pictures I was like “oh wait no there’s something to this. I don’t think they’d go this far.” Afterwards I didn’t interact with anything going on with them, or see anything coming out until I saw this podcast come out. Funniest shit I ever seen.

But then again I’m 44 and we didn’t get internet where I lived until I was maybe 16? I don’t know how all this online stuff affects people but I hope they protect their relationship in an informed, mindful way when it comes to the internet community. At the very least, their Smosh community seems so respectful and supportive! Way to keep the secret!

@BookwyrmEDS Yes, that is in this video. So they have implied they’ve been together since at least early 2021. But they’ve not directly confirmed anything.
With the Hades soundtrack, my wife had the same but with red dead redemption 2, she haded when i played it and rhe music got stuck in her head. Then i played it again and shes like, "oh!
