I just love someone like Remi whos able to see everything objectively and also saying that. He is the best climber and the best in this sport during this season, and so when he gets questions like do you feel threatened" or whatever, he's like not particularly. And my point is that I think if next season for example someone else would be just as good as Remi, Remi would say the exact same thing about that person because the person is not objectively the best. Is so nice when media, as usual, trying to create the headline or drama etc(not blaming them or anything ofcourse, it Is their job after all) and you have some one like Remi just describing reality no matter what.
@@popopopo4981 I think he is a great example how advanced training methods can be an advantage. But still, he is only marginally ahead of Philemon and Patrick, who make do with much less resources. Just goes to show that running, as long as you can make it your profession, is quite a fair sport that everyone can participate in.
@@nilsp9426 Less resources? They have the Kenyan highlands to train and a huge amount of successful road athletes to train with. No snow in winter. Less processed foods. All they need is good coaching.
@@RowOfMushyTiT That sounds increadibly ignorant to me. A lot of Kenyans can not afford to ever get injured, have little money to travel to races, and are at the mercy of any (potentially predatory) organization that sponsors them. The GDP per capita in Kenya is 2000$ compared to 93000$ in Switzerland, where Remi lives.
I am really starting to like patrick and philemon , really humble guys

Remi should have lost some points eating pizza with a fork and knife
It sounds like some of the Golden Trail races need to do a better job on marking their courses.😵💫
100%
What sunglasses is wearing Malen?
Nothing better in the world than GTS
omg so good cant wait the final
Wowww so inspiring 😊
Muy chévere!
@golden trail series, why didn't you talk about the women's record for the Pike's Peak events?? enjoying the series, but this was a miss...
The overall record is insanity? Fair play for highlighting that
Remi 's days are numbered. Patrick and Philemon will get him. Every disappointment, failure, setbacks will feed them.
nahh in their dreams
Every athletes' days are numbered.
Other than Remi the top athletes racing the GTS always seem to change every 2 years or so. Why? Where do they go??
Give them markers bruhhhh
Go go goooo!!
