Hi Nikita, Don’t use any sugar for babies below 1 year. The banana & dates gives necessary sweetness for the biscuits. Without oil the biscuits turn out soft by themselves. 🤗Make sure they chew well before introducing these foods 👍🏻 Hope the little champ likes this!!
Preheat a kadai with salt & stand in medium high for 10 mins. Then add the biscuits to a plate & place it over the stand. Let it sit for about 15 mins in medium low flame until done. It takes very less time to cook, if you add maple syrup & Coconut oil. When its done, you will get an amazing aroma of Coconut oil & Banana Oats all over the place 👍🏻
@@bhumikathakkar8603 Hello Bhumika!! So sorry it turned out burnt for you. What oven do you use? Because each oven differs with temperature. I would suggest to reduce the bake time/temperature and check for it after 5 mins, so that you know how long you can extend the baking time. Eg. Try to bake @325 for 10 mins or @350 for 5 mins.
What is pulse mode? And can you please share recipe for microwave? I have IFB Combi Grill microwave. I would want to give these to my 6 month old mixed with milk
Pulse mode is used when you need short bursts of power at the optimum speed. It is a useful way of avoiding over-processing. I haven’t tried these biscuits in microwave. So have to work on the exact duration. You can bake them on gas top too
Yes you can. Just add/reduce Oat flour when kneading the dough. But Coconut Oil/Ghee leaves a very nice flavour & smell than olive oil 👍🏻 let me know how it turned out😊
@@HungryFusion Thank you for your answer 😊 I just asked if i can replace it as at the moment i do not have coconut oil. As my baby is refusing puree these days i am trying different things to make her as i noticed that she likes things to put in her mouth and try to chew
Kavya Srivastava You can also use Ghee. Skip dates & follow the other ingredients if your baby is below 1 year & add any sweetener of choice like honey/Maple-syrup if you have a toddler
Give a long stick and please try it once baby can sit up straight and also comfortable with chewing. Parents know their baby well. Advice caution when giving it for the first time. Pay attention to how they chew it on and handles food each time.
8 month babies dan recommended da.. because its kind of solid food la. 6 months la dan they will start with liquids so let them get used with handling food of different textures before giving solids.
Add a tsp of Coconut Oil at a time & try kneading it. May be you used a small banana, thus the dough turned hard, it just needs oil or moisture to soften👍🏻
Hi Manasa. If you are preparing it for babies(with less coconut oil- finger shaped), the biscuits will be bit chewy, for small babies to chew on easily & to avoid choking. For crispier biscuits, add extra coconut Oil & make flat shapes like rectangular or circular. That makes it super crispy & can be enjoyed by toddlers with teeth.
Very healthy and easy recipe. Keep posting such recip

Extra virgin coconut oil or cold pressed oils are edible ones. And good for health.

If I don't want to add banana BCoz my baby didn't like the banana
You can add fruit puree like pears or apple sauce. Add more oat flour as it will be too liquidy
I tried to make these today but my dough turned out very hard wat can i add

Can I use unsalted butter instead of coconut oil?
Yeah it should work too. But use room temperature ones. Use unsalted butter only.
Can i use olive oil instead of cocunut oil?
We use coconut oil as a healthy substitute & also to hold the shape of the biscuits. I haven’t tried with olive oil yet.
