    i have the 90mm v1 which is amazing for portraiture, but I borrowed the 90 APO from a friend and it's amazing. The key here is focus, as you say, and actually, the best way for me is on a SL body - esp if you get IBIS as well.

      I can imagine it works well on the SL.. thx for stopping by

    Totally agree on 35/90. I used to shoot 28/50/75... But 35+90 condenses that down to a trimmer and more deliberate package. I'm also 100% character driven with my lenses and I landed on the Leica 90/4 Elmar-C. It definitely has character and the bonus of fitting in the back pocket of a pair of jeans. Thing is TINY.

      Ahhh sounds awesome.. I don’t mind a slower 35 but I’m a whore for fast teles that’s why I’m salivating over the 90 Summilux.. Just deciding which kidney i won’t miss..

    The last pre-asph. 90mm Summicron is a beautiful lens, but quite soft wide open. Perhaps the Elmarit or Summarit are an option?

      It’s a bit much, but a 90 lux would be the dream. I’ll give the other lenses you suggested a go though. Thanks so much

    Question. I own the M11-P and am confused with the Peaking. Lets say I am at f/2.8 and I focus on a subject around 2m away. The camera shows the peaking in front of me, but also in a distance. It is quite annoying to use the LCD to determine what is in Focus. Any tips?

      You can try lowering the sensitivity of the focus peaking to low. Hope it helps

      @@robbiesumantri I will give it a try. It is my first Leica and I am blown away by how good it is. Thanks for your work. I am enjoying the content. Most other Leica channels are a tad boring. Keep it up.

    If you like the 50 lux then the 75 cron would probably be the right choice rather than older 90 cron. Same compression smaller less clinical but still sharp 90 elmarit m.

      I tried 75mm lenses.. haven’t found my keeper. I’m excited for light lens lab to release the 75mm spii though.. should be fun

    I like that lens. You took some nice frames of Jakarta with it.

    There is also a non APO non aspherical 90 mm Summicron which looks like the 90 mm APO

    Think of it as a tool for artists, it really is, the deep compression forces you to really nail an almost perfect composition, I urge you to look at the work of Ralph Gibson before selling that lens. Be a street photographer with a clear focus on "artistic" shapes.

      Does he have an ig account? 😂😂 on a more serious note, I’ll still have a 90mm, just not this one. Thx for stopping by

    Interesting you’re using the screen rather than to rangefind. Not sure there is enough character with the 90 APO for my liking but it is beautiful and incredibly critical. Good video fella

      @robbiesumantri  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hahaha… I knew this was coming.. I don’t think I’m good enough to nail focus constantly enough on the rangefinder… I do try though

      @@robbiesumantri it’s just interesting. Nothing wrong with it at all! I find the longer the focal length the more useful it is to focus through viewfinder. Especially with a magnifier. Great images too pal. J

      @jamie.dop_ yeah.. I guess it’s the way I prefer to shoot with this lens
