I definitely LOVE that this series is like a love child of Spielberg + Lucas (like the best parts of Goonies + ET + Star Wars). And I like that they pull it off SO well (Cause that Goonies aspect had me worried at first). My money is on Jod being a youngling who survived the slaughter at the Jedi temple.. and *maybe* At-Attan and it's Barrier are tied to some kind of Rakata or Old Republic tech. But maybe Jod thinks if he can find At-Attan, then he'll finally be safe from people tracking down force users (for good or ill). I like that they have kept the mystery going still - and didn't cave to the fears of audiences having a 2-3 episode attention span.
There is an interesting theory that if At-Atin is a name given after renaming and the planet itself is built literally on bones, that is, on the ruins of some other planet and under the depths of At-Atin there are ruins of some planet from legends?! And the treasure is the knowledge of the ancient Sith or Jedi!
It’s nice because (so far) it’s just a story. No obvious political agenda In my opinion , Obi-Wan is a story for the original generation of Star Wars fans Who have spent a lifetime contemplating gaps in the overall story of Star Wars. We just needed answers. And icing on the cake was that Darth Vader was back. And thanks to the sequels, unfortunately we need redemption
I laughed when he said you guys sit here in safety when he went back for the robot

Maybe it was a little "Those aren't the kids you're looking for."

oooo that would be an interesting twist! and definitely would tie into Wim’s love of the Jedi
i think it will depend on how the mystery of the planet is solved will be if it fails or not.
