I love how they're all badass with superhero landings but then there's Waluigi who's screaming the entire way down and Wario who just slams face first into the ground
I kinda like how they made all the characters a lot more “extreme” in this game, if that makes sense. Mario is a lot fiercer, Luigi’s confident, Peach went full on diva, Daisy’s sassier than ever, etc.
Yoshi growls and does kung fu, diddy comes in slamming and doing bad things with that banana, pete the piranha plant comes in with roaring cutting off his own theme song despite his reggae-loving self, etc.
Mario has the rock theme, Waluigi has the hillbilly theme, Luigi has the flamenco theme, and Wario has the polka theme. And then there's Bowser with the HEAVY METAL THEME.
