I dont really understand why people that arent even fans of the group are so worried about Sakura, downplaying her hardwork is a very strange thing to do when if you go back and follow her career she is one of the most hardworking idols there is.
At this point I think it's a mix between constructive criticism and genuine hate from people, but in the end I just learn to just brush off those comments, and just keep enjoying this comeback.

LOL sakura dont need to prove herself she is a legend 😂, i stan them because of their aura and their performances and that is something that makes le sserafim stand out.
If anyone don't know, Sakura actually hurt her vocal cord before. She did musical when she was young so how bad can she be in singing? Can always refer to her video when she perform lion king, her voice is powerful and not shaky at all. But she didn't train in a right way that caused her to hurt her vocal cord that's why she can't continue to perform musical anymore. This is the reason why her voice is always so shaky when she sings, and even when she talks. She might not be good in singing but never say she is not working hard to improve her vocal. Even sakura herself knows that she has no talent at all, she said she has no talent, the talent she only has is work hard. She debut for over 10 years already and still work so hard to improve her dance and vocal and be a professional who uses 100% energy whenever she goes on stage. She is really the IDOL!
I think people mistake being a good vocalist with being able to belt high notes. It is absolutely impressive when people can do that, but just because someone can’t does not mean they’re a bad singer. Some people have really nice tones or just softer voices and as long as the song/part they’re doing doesn’t require it to be belting then it sounds great and even better depending on the song. Some of the members in lsfm don’t have the belting type of voices but they are not bad singers, and they give such hardcore performances that it would be ridiculous to expect them to do everything 100% live while doing all that. Kpop stans who wanna hate other idols forget that whatever idol they like is oftentimes friends with or likes the group they’re hating on. I don’t think any idol would see their fan hating on another group and agree with them 🤷🏻♀️
I think this is where the jpop akb idol fan mindset is good-idols don’t have to be perfect. You can enjoy their growth as an idol or just as a human and that’s fine. They don’t all have to be perfect all rounders
Chaewon is really killin it right now. All 3 songs in this era she served her IT-girl energy so hard 🥵

I mean, I'm here in kpop fandom for the Performance groups. I stan Ateez, Stray Kids, Le Sserafim, NMIXX, Pixy, Dreamcatcher, (G)I-dle, and TXT. Like, some of these groups have stronger vocals, or stronger rap, or dance, than others. Or have individual members who excel at one aspect more than the other members in the group. That's fine! I am here for the DRAMATICS. I am here for the STAGE PRESENCE.
And, let's face it, anyone who manages to flippin' DEBUT is already a massively talented individual with an iron will and purpose. To debate who is better or worse is quibbling.

I never understand the need to bash the vocal qualities of a group that you are not a fan of (remember if you are fan of a group you don't need to preface the discussion with so many qualifiers like "I am lsf fan" to make it look like you are fan, no fan with clear conscience will need that many qualifiers to state their opinion on a group that they love, only someone who has a guilty mind will do that to give themselves an out) moreover, you have no emotional attachment to the group's success why are you haunting every lsf discussions and videos to tell fearnots that their idol singing is bad. Like that is the solution? Do you go to yell at someone that enjoys watching a movie that you don't like at the movie theater during a movie screening? What do you think that will accomplish, do you honest think fearnots will say "Yes you are 100% right, you open my eyes that I will drop lsf as a group" Such a waste of time, if you don't like the members, the music or vocals then please go listen to other groups, there are so many different kpop groups, that's why I love kpop because you get so many choices of kpop groups to be fan of match all range of your taste. Don't devote all your energy on a group you don't care for or like, and the worst thing to your own mental health is make hate watching contents you don't like your identity.

I don’t think people realize how bad the sound is on stage for encores. They don’t have in-ears, they’re only hearing studio speakers, and trying to sing against significant delay.
That of course makes it incredible hard for anyone to sing (and incredibly impressive when groups can do it well like NMIXX).

I just love how le sserafim doesn’t even need to live sing and they are still the most popular 4th gen girl group. They could go to Coachella not sing a single live note and still slay. That’s why they are performers not just singers. But all this comes from jealousy, every salty account making these comments has 20 other vids praising IVE or itzy or aespa. They are all great for different reasons, like imagine wonyoung in le sserafim she would look lost next to their dancing but that’s ok that’s why she’s a a singer and visual.

If sakura who was one of iz*ones weakest dancers could do lsrfms choreo, then wonyoung who was a middle of the pack dancer in iz*one could definitely do it.
IVE's choreo is just simpler compared to lsrfm's, but wonyoung has always had a solid dance foundation.
