made it to the end of the video! i can't be bothered to sit down and read the entire thing and it was entertaining to hear your opinion and reaction. thanks coach! B)
Watched all the way through. Gonna miss ditching even though they have every reason to patch it, you don't really get that kind of funny online trolling in games anymore. Thankfully, your channel at this point serves as an archive of what trolling was like in this game and why it was so funny. Thanks for all the content you've done on Toontown over the years.
I'm coming to this a bit late so not sure you'll see it, but I'd love a final goodbye video to ditching where you just do a recap video and pick out all your favorite moments/clips and memories from the ditching series over the years.
For the case of organic throw when they change cog levels level 12s went from 200 to 196 and bc org wedding does 198 they now 1 shot them, and that change was a oversight bc they didn’t meant it to happen, but it did, so the org changes is mainly to address that. Now wedding does 189 due to the nerf
22:30 I personally disagree with this sentiment. While I don't fully agree with TTR's decisions, to say drop is in a weak spot right now is incredibly misleading. Much like how trap synergizes with lure, drop synergizes with sound. It's an excellent tool to preserve fog in 8 man bosses and for taking out unlured high level cogs. As for safe, it's great at taking out level 8-10 cogs when combined with trunk. Drop is best used when either throw/squirt is not enough damage, or to preserve high level throw/squirt. Drop may seem shitty at first because of the 50 base accuracy, but using 2 stuns immediately solves that problem. The highest level cog you'll see outside of a field office if a level 12, with a defense of 55. Meaning, if you have max drop, your accuracy will increase to 55%. Using two stuns brings it to 95% accuracy, the max accuracy cap in the game. The problem with buffing safe past 70 damage, let's say 80, is that you run into a situation where you quite literally the firepower of 7 storms, indirectly nerfing squirt. Toontown was designed for you to leave out either trap/drop. Making safe have better firepower than than storm cloud, or even birthday cake, and allowing you to carry SEVEN of them, leads to a slippery slope where dropless toons are screwed they're stuck with a shitty build. This is also considering that drop is already incredibly useful in boiler/manager fights. Remoted cogs can't dodge, so being able to drop combo with guaranteed accuracy to destroy one is useful. Additionally, Clash history has shown that drop is fucking bonkers when combined with Sticky Lou. I highly doubt safes will be significant against the new managers, but being able to drop 4 pianos 3 times against a manager is crazy damage. I think it would be more interesting to discuss the sound nerf indirectly nerfing drop in 8 man bosses. Using less sound, by extension, means that you will use less drop.
I made it to the end, and I don't even play this game lol. But, it's interesting as a old school player. And at the end of the day, if new updates mean new content; That's good enough for me. I'm fine with ditching dying, I share the sentiment that it's ran it's course. I wouldn't mind something like a ditching mega episode, where you (attempt to) ditch each facility one final time and compile them into one upload as a proper send off. Call it "a final goodbye to ditching" or something.
Made it to the end. If I had to guess, trying to initiate a foreman battle while someone else is in a battle would simply just not let you until everyone is outside of a battle.
Rest in Piece the following organic throw combinations in 2 star Field Offices: 3 organic wcp taking out lured lvl 13 cogs for 225 dmg. 3 organic wcp taking out un lured lvl 11 cogs for 159 dmg.
Is it bad I kinda miss the back 9 though. I'll always have just a bit nostalgia for hr long back 9s. But I'm glad they're streamlining it. Maxing my bossbot suit is actually doable so I might go for it now. 😂 More boss fights means more fun for me. Obviously the big promotions are a bit of a grind, but infinitely better than what it was before. I'm hoping they change their mind with the cog health and make it show the actual numbers. It was hard for me to remember gag combinations coming back in, and corporate clash you could calculate your damage in advance.
yeah i really dont like the gag reworks, Removing toonup, doodle and trap stuns is going to make this game an even worse mess of RNG than it already it, just look at how everyone spams rewards in field offices because nobody wants to deal with their gags missing all the time. second the organic throw nerf is also awful, organic wedding cakes will no longer be able to take down lvl 12s, and it wont be able to take down unlured lvl 10s anymore. nerfing sound also wasnt needed, since all you needed to fix this was to add higher level cogs with uneven levels, rather than making people fight 50 cogs of the same level. the only gag changes really needed was to maybe stack trap, or increase its damage(so that trapdoor isnt completely useless), aswell as making drops accuracy 60% and maybe making squirt have a double stun (40%) like clash does so that it doesnt miss every single time.
toonup increasing accuracy of other gags is the dumbest thing ever and definitely an unintended feature that TTO just never cared to fix, makes a braindead easy game easier, glad its removed
Feels like a lackluster way to "update" the game without having to do any actual work. They tweaked some numbers in the code and got rid of some extra cogs. No actual NEW content like a new boss or new playground.
pesonally, i play ttr for the nostalgia. so this update kind of ruined the game for me. i loved it while it lasted but i don't want new cogs, new attacks, or them messing with the gag balance, so I'll just stay to the sidelines. i understand why they did it, but still kinda sucks. i was already on the fence with the field offices 😭
Gotta give Nick credit, his mic somehow sounds worse than when he was playing TTO, 11 years ago, it's impressive
Yeah I'm a bit unsure how that happened LOL

WHOA someone did watch the whole thing. Glad you enjoy my content!
Well now he can perhaps green in them easier
Bro yapped as long as a cash bot run 😂😭
thank u for running thru the patch notes, i clicked on them then realized i was too lazy to read thru them.

CLASH IS REPLACING BIG FISH WITH WARIO

they should have a hidden area in bbhq that has the back nine for the memes

so you basically typed an entire essay just to say that Drop is good?
Finished a bossbot grind in like August and havent played since as it was just such a chore, so I welcome the facilities changes
4 months late but I made it to the end. Can't wait to hear the rest of your thoughts about the managers themselves
NO!!!!!!!!!!!! MY SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY JIMMY MENTION!!! 3:23 !!! I FUCKING LOVE JIMMY

Appreciate ya boss man
I made it through to the end and I wish I didn’t cause I need to sleep lol. Good video though
Please find new ways to troll! I'm addicted to your videos!
I made it to the end, and I like the update I think it’s solid enough.

Having an awakening
only thing the safe update did was make it kill level 7s by it self if organic
made it to the end 😎

Question: Are you going to try to green during the public playtest? Or maybe a reaction video? Or are you just not gonna bother with it
Can we pls get a meme/half serious video raging this update and the changes mr horse would make instead ?
he's on incognito so the ttr team can't findem
you don't liek the new cogs?
Field office update and 1.3 review pls
13:37
Org cake can no longer 1 shot 9s
Org wedding can no longer 1 shot 10s
I prefer Sunrise Games Toontown.
SO TRUE!
😮
I’m very annoyed about hearing your opinion on rewritten I only want to hear your opinions on tooniversal
Nothing needed to be changed lol
This video is far too long! I did finish it though, I do think there is one way to still ditch, but it only works in offices and maybe golf courses?
Good job getting to the end of it still loooool
Nerf my main? Time to quit the game! Take too long!
video game patchnotes are so bad dev comments really let you know that they don't know wdf they are doing
58 minutes of yapping
i made it to the end tho :D
God I hope this update doesn’t come out for a few years like field offices. TTR should stop trying to ape corporate trash
