been a groovin club cat in the LA area for about 10 years. Our dance/club community wasnt so easily exposed to house foundations, so we created our own. We simply called it groovin. We later incorporated house foundations to our groovin and made a sort of fusion style. Unfortunately, the house dance purest put us down for it cause we didnt look the way house was "suppose" to look. This video has reaffirmed that what we did/doing is not wrong. Thank you both. Truly Inspiring.
