There's a tip to make even the 48p easy to cook rice fluffy and nice. Wash the rice. Soak the rice for 30 minutes (only for basmati), boil some water in a saucepan, there should be enough water for the rice to be fully under it. Also add salt to water. Once the water is boiling, add the rice and partially cook the rice (until the rice also jumps up with the boiling water), drain the water and add some oil/fat. Mix the fat with the rice, poke some holes between. Close the saucepan and cook on very low heat until the rice cooks in its own steam. This is the same technique for Persian steamed rice or tadigh.
