  • Bill and Pete head into Algonquin Park during a significant weather system that brought dropping temperatures and freezing rain in mid January. Despite getting soaked, cold, and discouraged from the difficulty of starting and maintaining a fire, we were still able to get lost in the beauty and peace of this magical place.

Fake teeth are essential to any camping trip... also I'm surprised that the water isn't frozen yet up there esp w -17 temps on the way. It's been probably 2 decades since I've been up to Guskewau.

Lol the fake teeth caught me off guard for sure! The lakes have a thin layer of ice, but not much.
Been so crazy mild this year. Thanks for checking in man!

Nice to just get out there isn’t it! Not living if not self challenging. 🤘

Absolutely agreed Marc! We had to make that weekend work no matter what the weather was. So glad we did. Thanks for stopping by!
