Oh my god I realized Grace Chasity is mentioned in BOTH of the other musicals. In TGWDLM bill and Alice call her a nerdy prude, and in this one she’s meant to be Tim’s babysitter
A few details I missed first time through: Uncle Wiley 26:50 is Col. Wilbur Cross 1:43:06 who went into the Black & White 13 years ago and pledged loyalty to Wiggly. 1:58:56 Becky missed with the hypodermic because Hannah was wearing Ethan's magic hat. The story is based on the Cthulhu mythos stories from the 1920s and 30s by horror writer H. P. Lovecraft. Wiggly is Cthulhu.
I'm just gonna reiterate what someone in chat said, which is just how impressive it is that Kendall, the girl who played Tim and Hannah was around 13-15 when this was filmed which is INSANE. I'm older than her and she is so fucking talented considering where I was at her age lol
At 2:03:23. You seem to have missed part of the central point of the play. The Wiggly dolls don't work on children, only on the adults Wiggly isn't target kids, he's targeting adults by pretending to be for kids. Its even explicitly said that only adults cared about the wiggly doll
Same! With the intricate harmonies and deep lyrics, Starkid reached a level they have never achieved before. When I first watched it I felt some of Dylan's numbers were a little too long, but they grew on me and now BF are my favorite Starkid songs. I love how the Crash! Bang! in Tom's songs evokes the PTSD he is suffering.
@goosco Actually James Tolbert isn't a new Starkid. He's, actually, been with Starkid since, pretty much, the beginning. He went to University of Michigan with the Founders and did the Dance Choreography for "A Very Potter Sequel" and then, later when he came back, "Twisted" and all of the "Hatchefield" Projects except the latest one "Nerdy Prudes Must Die" (which was choreographed by Lauren Lopez). This is just the first time he's been on stage with Starkid. Also, for a bulk of Starkid's lifespan, as of this writing, he wasn't around because he was busy with non-Starkid projects. But since he came back, he's been all-in with Starkid. He's currently the Director, Producer, Dance Choreographer, and Co-Writer (with Clark Baxtresser) of Starkid's new yearly "A Christmas Carol" Projects. Also, "Take Me Back" is, lowkey, underrated. It's, hands down, my favorite song of the whole show. But I've seen people say it's the worst song of the whole show.
👀 I'm not normally a fan of more PVP based content so the secret element of secret life was a great way for me to get into the traffic light life series. Loved secret life
good theory (I thought he wasn't a Waylin but just some nutjob who found the lords in black somehow) but in Nightmare time, the videos they posted over lockdown, we find out that Uncle Wiley is actually Wilbur cross, Macnamara's mentor that pledged allegiance to the lords in black.
@@feedmeyoursoul29 during black friday they never explicitly stated he is Wilbur cross. They only ever call him uncle wiley. We get direct conformation during nightmare time instead
@@sharugangaming2686 I know, I just thought it was pretty explicitly lore rather than a fan theory or anything. why else would Cross be apart of Hannah's visions, and why else would Wilbur know Gen. Macnamara by his first name and they have that moment where they glare at each other resentfully? I'm not saying others were stupid, i just mean that when it came out, I didn't think of the nightmare time as "revealing" it as opposed to "reiterating" it, if that makes sense.
I love that you are doing these! I wish I was more attentive when you're on twitch I always miss it! (also I'll be commenting my thoughts in replies lol)
Oh my lord, I love you and your content, but when Tom and Becky were delivering those heartwrenching monologues in the theatre and you PAUSED IT to joke about it!!! It's all good, tho, cuz your streams are very nice to watch when I wanna watch hatchetfield musicals and not be by myself lol.
I believe they hadn't seen NPMD and like flocab said it was new and I think they were just intending to do NPMD but then it kinda popped off + people seemed to enjoy it so they did Guy (which they have seen) and then looped back round to Black Friday. Honestly I've actually seen quite a few people come this route now it's kinda funny 😂
@@yourgrammarisnotverygood1827The order actually does matter since the lore of later installments of the Hatchetfield series spoil Pokey and Wiggly's plots from the first two musicals and a lot of characters get subsequent development over the course of the series.

I love ethans hat thing
@@KT_BLU Hannah has the Power of Grayskull!!! I used to watch He-Man with my nephew

I like how Hannah was never injured while she was wearing Ethan’s hat. It’s such a nice touch.

If you like Corey Dorris, you GOTTA check out Trail to Oregon! He's a central character and is on stage for most of the show!
11:08 omg not them calling tom a scrooge and then casting dylan as scrooge in their vhs christmas carol lmao
Black Friday has some of my favorite Hatchetfield songs!!

For the people just wondering. I did the math on the sales tax of hatchet field based on the “44,999” sale and it’s .06 cent per dollar
ive been looking for an excuse to watch this musical again and now i get to both watch it and funny streamer!

My fan theory is that Uncle Wiley (the random dude joy plays that approaches Linda) is a Waylin still worshiping the Lords in Black.

Glad to see you continuing these streams.
yes, the Tin Can Bros 'Spies Are Forever'! definitely do that one! its one of my faves
Ah it's a shame the audio for the show is so low in the stream, wish someone had told you! Otherwise loved this and well done
I Love Joey Richter. And Lauren Lopez In This.
Uncle Wiley is giving Captain Tripps (The Stand) - really Black Friday is very Stephen King inspired in my opinion
I'm so excited that you're doing Spies are Forever next!! I did a cover of one of their songs on my channel, the entire soundtrack is a banger
11:59 if Jon was someone's father wouldn't the kid be like 5 or 10?? lol

I actually have two wiggly dolls so its funny to hear you talking about the price being a lot lmao
I've loved Corey Dorris since his role as Yaxley the death eater in the AVPM series lol
the "she can be taught" is one of my favorites lmao its so funny
When Linda went off on Becky I was so mad like binch what
I'm just as nosey as all these town people and it makes me laugh so much lol
Ur Channel is so underrated idk how I love ur vids btw
Is it goosco as in rhymes with kuzco? BC that's brilliant

Why did you react to these out of order???
They probably just reacted to npmd first because it was new at the time and now are going in order (that's what I did at least)
