What's to be expected when you fill a room full of wealthy "live in a bubble" people and put an unrestricted black comedian in front of them. The audience was HORRIBLE, I can see why though, Larry made a lot of black jokes and called out every new's ratings and the audience didn't want none of that.
MOST of his material?? Did you just skip to the very end of the video?? Most of the material was about calling out the media's bull and making fun of trump, the candidates, and Ted Cruz. He also gave Obama hell for drone strikes and Iraq while also saying everyone would miss just Michelle, so I don't know where you're getting your Obama being black makes him a god thing. He gave one or two sentences about how he appreciated that Obama was able to become president as a black man, and that was in his end statement. Plus.. him saying that is absolutely true, it's had a massive positive impact for our entire country to have now had a black president.
Even if you don't like Obama (or black people, since it kind of looks like from your comment you're one of those people that always say "why do black people always have to make everything about themselves?! Racism has ended, get over it already!") you do kind of have to admit that having a black president has done so much good for equality and freedom in this country. Not saying we are done yet but definitely a step in the right direction!

Also, the fact that Priyanka Chopra felt the need to show up to an award show where the only reason she was invited in the first place was because most other, more famous people of color boycotted it and the academy needed POC to show off as props to broadcast that they weren't completely racist. But the fact that she laughed hysterically at a joke poking fun at a woman of color for voicing an opinion showed me how little she understands the racial politics in America more so than the stupid comments she has made about how there should be a "color blind world." I understand that Priyanka Chopra is an Indian who grew up in India and is not expected to understand how race works in America, but if she is going to work here and wants to be known here (and especially since she seems to want to represent Indian Americans), she should make an effort to understand our experiences - even if they don't reflect her own.

I can respect Priyanka Chopra's ambition (and her PR team), but when Indian Americans are afforded the same opportunities to make it in their own country as a beautiful bollywood star with millions of social media followers - that is when I'll celebrate. That being said, I just haven't been impressed at all with how she has handled the platform she has been given when it comes to racial politics. Especially compared to people like Aziz Ansari and Mindy Kaling.
