And nothing about OKC not playing up to their level the last three games. It’s just Dallas that “struggles”. Both teams are playing pretty good defense and the refs are letting them play. One team is adjusting better than the other. That’s all.

Irving for some reason refused to take shots in the first Qr a d not much in the second Qr.
Irving needs to mix it up the whole game, take shots and pass the ball, one of the two just not going to work, that's why they lost, Irving wasn't involved in scoring the first half.

The Thunders gameplan of being down the entire game 4 and almost being down 3-1 is exactly the plan. Not to mention Dallas missing 13 free throws. That seems like a solid gameplan.

The Thunder's game plan was working after game 4? Was their strategy for the Mavs to shoot 52% from the free throw line? If Dallas shot a decent free throw percentage, it would have been 3-1 and the series would be over today.

It's been a Thunder story all along. They got a legit MVP level floor general, a devout defensive beast in Dort, a bunch of rookie contract guys that been running together for a minute. It's called BUILDING. Something Kyrie and LeBron and Harden and Kawhi know nothing about.
How long was LeBron in Cleveland for before leaving for Miami? Longer than these Thunders have been together so if he knows nothing of building then it’s the team GM who didn’t know how to build. His second stint in CLE he has no business trying to build a team over a 3-4 year period and same for his time in LA.
Kawhi came in on a winner with Spurs and with an injury history, you are correct he knows nothing about building.
Kyrie had the wonderful Cavs front office for 2 yrs then went into win mode when LeBron came back so yep no Building history. Harden is the closest with OKC, but they all after just a few years in the league had expectations due to situation to win quickly, OKC did not have that same expectation. Let’s see how things flow the next few yrs when they hit yrs 5 together.

Luka is playing through an injury so that by itself gives OKC an edge. They are still not quite where they need to be to be considered a championship team however. They are not a real threat to either the Nuggets or the Timberwolves in a postseason setting. They are a piece away from matching up with either team.

We could say the same for each of the Mavericks wins. Thunder played pretty bad in games 2 and 3, gave up so many open shots and only lost by 9 and 4 respectively. It’s any teams series to win.
Same for the Thunder. They haven’t played up to their standards yet in this series, except in game 1. They’re shooting 10% less on field goals and 3’s and not getting assists like they normally do. This series could end in two blowouts if OKC figures out how to make their shots. But same for Dallas. We’ll see.
