I hope there will be a time when the military do not rely on a handout by private donors. The well being and livelihood of the military personnels and their families should be well taken care of by the government and not rely on private donors.

It is wonderful to see Khmer love Khmer and working to support the military personnel by the civilian. However, if Cambodia wants build an effective fighting force, the government must step up to provide adequate funding for the military and not relying on civilian handouts. It is very disgraceful to see the military is heavily relying on the corrupted civilian official to survive.
