  • That which is apparently happening is already the freedom that we seek in everything we do. In this episode of “Letting Go & The Greatest Secret,” Hale Dwoskin and Jim Newman discuss that which is simple and directly whole, complete, and already enough, spurring the disillusion of the sense of being a separate person.
    Jim Newman holds meetings on non-duality around the world. Learn more and connect with Jim at www.Simply-This.com and www.Facebook.com/JimNewmanNonDuality.
    Hale Dwoskin is the author of the New York Times best seller "The Sedona Method" and the coauthor of "Happiness Is Free: And It’s Easier Than You Think" with Lester Levenson. He has been helping people let go and discover their true nature since 1976. He is also one of the featured teachers in Rhonda Byrne’s book and movie phenomenon "The Secret" as well as a featured teacher in "The Greatest Secret." Amazing to see my fav two people on non duality chat about nothing.:)Its also worth noting that Hale has been a teacher for more than 30 years and his humbleness and facing the other person as just a normal person but not as a teacher is something very rare.Jim on the other hand is very intense and clean as a pointer.The cleanest people👌

    The frustration in the very first question is also it... a part of the whole.. everything is a puzzle of the whole, consciousness seems to laserfocus our "private attention" on different puzzle pieces at different times. Regardless they are already pieces of the whole, a story to get away is another piece. The puzzle is as it is, we only speak of it in pieces.

      No one can laugh as much as one can.
      Because when people hear the Tao (Truth), they naturally laugh spontaneously & uncontrollably because no one or no self is there in the response!

      @@gerrickhan yes, it's all an illusion, it's all makes no sense, then why do you even use these illusory terms like ''seeker'' or ''self-inquiry''? Why bother? Why do you even watch these videos, read and post comments? You are ''awakened'' enjoy your life xD

    • @Chuckle215
      @Chuckle215 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@gerrickhan it's true that ''I'' does not exist, all concepts and conditioning are just an illusion, BUT to recognize it, it took people years of meditation and self-inquiry, they weren't born like that. It's the suffering that pushes people to wake up. I think it's not right to tell people ''you dont need to do anything'' this is egoistic and arrogant, it can be compared with trolling. Can you imagine if someone comes to a doc and tells him ''I broke my arm, help me'' doc says ''ohh dont worry your arm is an illusion, dont need to do anything'' that's how absurd it sounds

    • @Chuckle215
      @Chuckle215 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gerrickhan thank you for sharing your philosophy.
      As long as a strong identification with thoughts, emotions, concepts, desires, conditioning...etc. still exists, suffering will not stop. Meditation (being aware) helps to detach from desires and all the illusions I mentioned above. It's easy to say ''relax, it's all just an illusion'' when you dont have a rusty nail stuck in your back that constantly hurts like hell.
      This is the difference between ''awakened'' and ''not awakened person''. Awakened people forgot what suffering is, this leads to zero empathy towards the ones that suffer. Advice from ''awakened person'' is like a fish talking to a bird, it makes no sense, it even makes everything worse
