As always nascar comes through. I didn't catch this race, and as usual I can catch up during the week after and see the full broadcast later on when time allows. This is why I love Nascar more than ever, and I've been a fan since my mom had me watch the races with her back in the early 90's. NAscar and loving 80s music might be an odd combination but those are some of the earliest memories and biggest influences from my mom. I will be honest that the Jimmie Johnson Era, while amazing, was my lowpoint in fanhood, but my early 20s were also a time a lot of life was going on to get in the way as well. Much love to one of the greatest motorsports companies/groups/organizations in history, and here's to many long years of interesting future changes and occasional mistakes along the way that objectively add to the character of the sport.
