Good video, well presented. A camera person would have lended more professionalism to it but it is certainly a good start and Steve gives the viewers a lot of helpful, true info from a foreigner's perspective living in Moscow.
To be honest, almost everything in that unit is quite expensive. Yes, the washing machine is quite small but us foreigners are use to big appliances so it seems strange. It is a one bedroom so I don’t see much laundry being done at any one time. Although the downside is doing your linens.
@@Mickeymick1131 Maybe in Moscow or St. Petersburg, if Your some rich person that HAS TO have the best of everything in their apartment. You can get a simple yet very nice 1 bedroom apartment in Moscow for $500 a month, and in other areas like Engels and Saratov, for $375 to $450 a month! You won't find that in the US, simply because Americans have become too damn greedy!
Do you know if Wealthy families in Moscow & SPB still want their children to learn English ? Has the demand or opportunities changed, if so how? Part of my thinking is that Supply could be low, because so many fewer Native English Speakers are currently living in Russia ? Thanks !!
Overall demand has declined but only slightly. To many foreigner’s surprise, there are plenty of wealthy people in Moscow and St Petersburg. Sure quite a few teachers have left but those that stayed are quite busy now!
So in Russia you can either live in a super expensive apartment in Moscow, packed like sardines on top of each other with what you call Beautiful People or you can have your own house in the country and some land but the walls are like plywood everything is dilapidated and everybody is broke, drunk and depressed, your cows are skinny and there is nothing in between is that it?
6:10 nope and no don't ever ask me to walk Barefoot on your nasty floors it's called the floor for a reason and God made shoes for a reason learn to mop your floor Russians it's not that complicated also hardwood floors and apartments I think not learn to have the comfort of carpet their floors are disgusting you mop 20 minutes later they're full of dust and dirt and your feet would turn black no thanks I am never walking barefoot only lazy people walk Barefoot at home. in fact podiatrists say you should never walk barefoot in your house
Many people work from home and you dress up in the morning and your business suit just like if you are going to the office and it requires shoes You would not ask police to remove their shoes. Let's see you Russians deal with a fire when you only have seconds to crab your cash and important documents and run out of the place without shoes yeah no thanks again only lazy people do not wear their shoes at home and it is super rude to ask anybody to remove their shoes you tell them before they come so we can decide not to show up because you're rude have a mop and learn to wash your damn floors better yet buy some wall to wall carpet and use a vacuum the end
How arrogant and rude to assume that people don’t mop their floors! I wouldn’t dream of wearing my dirty outdoor shoes in my home. Nasty😖 you need to take a pill and sit in a quiet room.😂😂😂

Thanks for the feedback! And thank you for watching.
I think this apartments costs A LOT! From 1 million USD as I suppose
Thanks for watching. Not sure how much these units go for but if I were to guess, I’d say somewhere in the ballpark of $600,000+ to purchase.
It costs like 400k-500k USD
So is this typical or very expensive? It doesn't seem to agree with the categorization of Russia as a low cost destination.
This is not typical overall, but quite typical for what is considered A-Class or Elite apartments in the city.
It's in Moscow and in the centre and also fancy Moscow City apartment building. That's why the price. Absolutely not typical
That background music is super unnecessary and makes me unable to hear what you're saying. Please stop adding background music to the videos.
It’s my dream to live in the Moscow city towers but my bank account balance doesn’t let me to do so
So nice and very helpful to have great ideas to buy....great great great good and good
Nice video
Quite pricy, she could’ve spent a bit more on the furniture/appliances, especially that candy washing machine 😅

Ребятки, у вас шмоток меньше, чем у нас, россиян. Машинки есть у каждого. Сам выбирает какую он хочет и на сколько кг.
What would be the rough cost for a 2 bedroom unit in this type of area? Or do these apartments ever come with an office space?
Apartment in general looks cool but everything inside doesnt so much.
It's ONLY a 1 bedroom??? It's Beautiful, but I can't see paying $2800 a month for ANY apartment!
I agree. I wouldn’t pay that much! But…there are people who do.
I was shocked to find that a one-bedroom apartment in Russia would be similar to the price of a one-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, California.
