Riding at 20mph is more of a hazard in my opinion especially with jerky throttle due to Euro 5 mapping. 30mph has become muscle memory leaving the driver/rider free to concentrate all around him. 20mph means he's fighting the throttle and concentrating on the Speedo and likely to be overtaken by a push bike or electric scooter. Ironically narrow country lanes remain with a 60mph limit when no one in their right mind would risk meeting a speeding oncoming car. Still with 15 and 20 minute zones planned ( all your needs within walking distance within that time) 20mph limits are only the thin end of a very Big Wedge.
