I think it'd be neat if they added it, but then did the opposite of workshop- making all of the bloons move slower through the track, which would both be on theme for tar pit, and make it possible on CHIMPS.
I think to keep the difficulty aspect, only low tier bloons get slowed like up to greens so the early game is made possible but has minimal effect of the difficulty past that
i dont think that would be enough. if you are thinking about early game to me there are only one possible option: three darts with each dart covering two lanes and one lane being covered by two of the darts (or one dart covering only a single lane). this would require one dart to beat two greens on two different lanes and unless that slow is insane there is no way this is possible. (the other starting options that to me dont seem possible are sub dart(sub cant cover three lanes) and 100 sub (i dont think it can reach all lanes from the middle))
The versatility he brings knocks all other heroes out of the water. It's by design. Even if they nerfed every one of his items to the point of being borderline useless, he'd still be better than most of them in a lot of scenarios.

I think NK could introduce harder maps if the early game is possible, probably with revealing tracks on later rounds, kind of like dark dungeons, so for tar pits, start with 2-3 and open another every 5 rounds or something
maybe it could be like cargo where theregular bloons use one path and the moabs use another, in this case, the regular bloons using 3 of them and then the other two paths opening on round 40 for the moab

@@royal_kim1154 naah, bloonarius extremely hard due to BADs and DDTs exiting in under 1 second, but still doable with enough dps/stuns. lych would probably be impossible with that insane invincibility phase combined with a very short track, not to mention no buffs allowed. vortex would be impossible due to DDTs slip-streaming into the exit within 0.0001seconds, not to mention that large stun range. dreadbloon is too ez, the easiest boss, and the most doable on this map. Big plane 1 immunity, dragon's breath 1 immunity, engineer explosion 1 immunity, and dps the last immunity. the rock bloons might be a problem... phyze is reasonable, since it only zooms forward based on a percentage of the the track length. No camo isn't that much of a problem, considering MAD, camo crosspaths, paragon auto camo etc.

I agree 0,2,5 is typically better but not on some multilane maps as it needs balloons to be somewhat grouped for it to work better with other crossspath even with gerry buffs. I would also like to recommend strategies where you are using the 025 sniper to use it instead of the typical maim moab bouncing start or sub bouncing start as the 024 can typically save up to round 50 for edef with a few gerry items and then you have all the way until the mid 60s to start saving up for whatever you want and more reliably beat the midgame. Obviously you can't do that on this specific map but on other maps its extremly helpful and it is something that helped me easily BB most of my expert maps with gerry snipers.
I feel like 205 is better with e sniper strats as 025 shares it strengths and weaknesses with e sniper, but 205 is good bad damage, decent Moab damage, and covers the first bloon problem bouncing bullet and e sniper have.
@@WingedEspeon 205 and elite sniper I feel like struggle a lot to big groups of bfbs and moabs and with the 025 moab damage buff the 025 can take care of those clumps of moabs far better and then for zomgs I like to get 2 maim snipers to take care of those and the 2 rejuv potions with first strike or spike storm negate bad weakness. For most maps I just need 4 or 5 snipers to beat them comfortably for example in muddy I beat it with 50k left over and no abilities other than round 100 first strike.
Ah, U-Turn, Challenge Deep, the Great Divide, Double-Double Cross and Death Valley bring back memories. I bet it’d be fun if they were brought into btd6.

I feel like the difficulty ratings on the maps could be rearranged like how some maps are quite hard/easy for their rating and would not mind a extreme rating for true expert CHIMPS maps so it be more rewarding to do and to help split the difficultys more, though it will result in faster hero leveling but it might be cool anyway.
If they wanted to bring this map back for btd6 maybe they could let you choose a tar puddle which then slows all bloons by 30% in that puddle by clicking on it and costing nothing.
My favorite videos are when you are going up to 100 on chimps and it’s really weird strategy’s and the videos are a little longer because it’s hard and requires a lot of restarts
I think if nk add tar pits, there would be a slowing mechanic in the pits and the tar would be removable, each starting at 200$ and adding 200 for every pit bought. Once doing that, the bloons on that track move at normall speed, but you get a random tier 3 or 4 tower w/ a 1 damage buff, and can be upgraded. Also towers near the tar pit get a 25% attack speed debuff. Finally, all water towers that are placed get the flint tip buff, allowing them to pop lead bloons and deal fire dps (1 bloon layers every seccond for 5 seconds).

Yeah crypt keeper it's called. Despite the fact that it's only an advanced map it's the 3rd hardest one in the game right behind this one and down the drain.
The advanced maps on BTD5 were stupidly hard. I beat enough Expert maps to unlock Mastery, but I couldn't beat medium on the majority of advanced maps. Too many tracks, too short tracks...

I feel like this really a map moab push would really shine, it could easily provide steady support to all the towers since in this map time is so precious. Also, it's much better than having 2 random 0-0-0 boomerangs just chilling lol.
@SoulxWeaver even so. If it weren't for the broken save system, beating it on max difficulty without p2w mechanics would be nearly impossible. R40 requires careful selling and rebuying of engineers, and extremely fast and particular placememt of spike factories. And that's also just that round, getting there requires stupid amounts of greed which is incredibly dangerous.

I feel like the Idol was incredibly underutilized here, especially since it provides some crowd control for two different lanes for cheap and for 4 different rounds. I'm not sure if it would've really saved some of these rounds, but it's one of his cheaper items and should it help it would be one the only items that actually help out on two lanes on this map.

I think the reason Geraldo feels like "cheese" when you use him is because he's basically a powers store as a character.

It’s definitely worth getting monkey city if you’re already doing monkey town for sniper farming
Like 2k for +15% income means you only have to make like 13k to make your money back, and just an elite sniper can make this much in like 10-15 rounds

Tar pits on BTD5 impoppable mode is a nightmare with the like 10 fast traveling ZOMGs that spawn. Even with temples its still hard

With Challenge editor you could've played this in CHIMPS mode and just gave yourself more starting cash or starting hearts.
Bloonchipper and Farms are the MVPs of BTD5, take both of these away and most expert maps will be next to impossible

Well, tar pits in Btd 5 was not possible on M.A.P.S.F.R.I.L.L.S so it makes sense that it is not possible on C.H.I.M.P.S.

My guess would be that circles get larger for there to be more track length
They could do something where circles unlock as the rounds progress so that early game isn't impossible but mid/late game don't get easier.
Probably something like either bloody puddles where it goes one lane at a time or maybe 2 loops instead of 1 for each pit
