There are actually quite a lot of people who still play the game. You have to go on the American servers though, the European ones are empty indeed. Perhaps the Asian ones are full too, I haven't checked yet.

Guild Wars has come to life! I also came back after a six-year break and I play again ... No game has such a wonderful and magical atmosphere ... This game is amazing! :)
Love the video! I used to have another TH-cam account 10 years ago where almost all I did was upload 55 Monk farming areas. This video brought back a lot of memories. I miss those days.
Hi Peter, This is a truly great video. I have done a lot of 55 monking and I thank you for showing me there is more to do. I would love it if you did one more thing (as if you don't do enough). Can you do a compilation video that shows the best solo farms for each of the usual areas you do selecting the best/most efficient professions for those areas? E.G. What is the best profession and build for farming solo the feathers at Jaya Bluffs? Is it the Sin, Derv or Ele etc. Imagine I have all professions on my account. I would use my Sin for the Vaettirs but I use my ele for feathers at Seitung. Is it better to use a SoS rit for the UW? A video showing the best prof for all areas would be so enormously useful along with the best builds. Something for you to think about.

Dervish is the most popular for solo right now, people can clear FoW with it. Back in the day though when it was just Prophecies ooh yeah 55 Monk all day. The first monk I made is called 55 Boom and I still have it.
great vid. I have not played in ages and I only play pre. I only own proph camp. what all can I and can't I farm with this build ? And witch build would be best for me seeing I don't have all the skills available ? EDIT: I got all the camps now.. so nvm.

@ thanks peter, just tried now 2 runs and 3 golds, + lockpick. This is fine. But i don't get why there are members of shining blade spawning when i farm. It s kinda disturbing because they got focused. And respawn when they die. Do you have an idea why?

@@jeanvaljean4876 your character has to finish war in kryta, this is the only way to get rid of those spawns(or bring an alt account with u, which have not finished eotn/proph)
Farming kind of died in this game with the 2006 patch that introduced monsters running away from AoE. Also removing Griffins was a mistake... After that the only thing coming close to that feeling were some SF Speedclears.

Back in the day I farmed faranur for hours on the 55hp build. Simple times. great times. shoutout to all gw1 players

is this 55hp Monk still working? i thought the nerfed that a long time ago.
absolutely working! only some uw farms are nerfed for 55monks, since skeletons of dhuum insta kill with bone spike
@ played GW1 like 12 years ago and some day they nerfed it but dunno, maybe they changed it back
@@maxzet368 It is still "nerfed", Monsters run away from AoE so it takes a lot longer now.

5x superior runes(-75hp each) and a grim cesta(-50hp), which is a quest reward in Prophecies
@Oh, okay. I might consider farming out a 55 monk eventually
