It all just fits so well.

The Rangers logo isn’t inspired by the NHL logo. George Rickard the Rangers founder and owner designed the logo to look similar to the NY Americans logo on purpose. The logo since has gone through small changes but the core of it has remained unchanged in 98 years.
my two cents for any that care: lifelong coyotes (rip) fan, i always really loved the kachina logo. i wasnt around when they were first running it but i had some hockey cards that had the logo. i remember people didnt really like it at first but when they brought it back it rightfully became a favorite. still my favorite logo in all of sports. i just dont hate the jets logo as much as everyone seems to, i straight up think the jets have one of the cleanest coolest logos in hockey. and in general, i feel like the nhl probably has the best logos of any sport. so many great ones
I'm biased, but the best logo is the Sabres. Visually, it tells you every thing; the charging Buffalo and crossed sabres. Other logos I like; Canadiens, Blackhawks, Maple Leafs, Flyers.

Arizona isn’t abstract, it represents Kachina which is an homage to all the Native American tribes and culture found in the southwest. From the colors to the shapes and angles this logo embodies the different art styles from tribes in the area and still present today. Coyotes are a fierce beast and with them being bad luck, this is the idea in Native culture and it’s meant to be a warning to the other team. Unfortunately, in the recent past they haven’t been a top contending team and the possibility of them moving to another city is becoming more real and concerning every year.

Why the Oilers, Flames, Canadiens and Jets are not in the top ten is beyond me. I think Ottawa's logo is amazing and badass, not just because it's my team, but it's not top ten because it's too elaborate and doesn't really tie into the city's role. That being said, Calgary's is a reference to the US Civil War when Atlanta burned.

I always liked the old Florida Panthers logo.
The Blackhawks were NOT named after Chicago, the original owner served in a WW1 Machine Gun Unit known as, "The Black Hawks", the owner brought to the team.
Frederic McLaughlin was a commander with the 333rd Machine Gun Battalion of the 86th Infantry Division during World War I. In 1926, McLaughlin was granted a franchise by the National Hockey League, which he named the Chicago Blackhawks after his wartime unit.

He’s wrong about the the Chicago Black Hawk logo. It was named after a unit in World War Two. The owner named it after his unit in World War Twp. I don’t know where he got his information from but he is wrong

Why the Oilers, Flames, Canadiens and Jets are not in the top ten is beyond me. I think Ottawa's logo is amazing and badass, not just because it's my team, but it's not top ten because it's too elaborate and doesn't really tie into the city's role. That being said, Calgary's is a reference to the US Civil War when Atlanta burned.
Without question, the top 2 should be the Seattle Kraken and the Chicago Blackhawks ... either order.
