Mama Price is such and anointed singer. She has always given her all to Lord in her songs. She always sings with such power and conviction. In my eyes she is one of the gtreatest Gospel Singers of our time. All the singers of today need to stop and tale a listen to this powerful woman of God!!!!!!!
I Love this Woman of God!! Wow, Thopmson Community Choir has been aroung floger than I've been alive!!! I've been following their ministry since 1980. It's a blessing to see then reunite in such a large number. A true testiment to the work of the late great Rev. Milton Brunson. God bless you Tommies!!!!
Love listening to Mother Price sing!!my prayers is that God keep her in good health and always bless her with that anointed voice everything she sings bless my soul..
Mother Price just passed, my Chi town best, Bishop Claude Timmons wrote & sung that song for Apostle RDHenten , Monument of Faith , just passed a month ago , The Tommies , ( Late Milton Brunson
@PrinceLolow The choir is over 50 years old and they were singing long before the "Guess You're Wondering" and "I'm Available" that we've come to know and love. That is one there early songs
@naytee4507 @PrinceLolow pardon me if this has already been clarified but i think your math is off. Rev. Brunson's bio says the choir was formed in 1948 and the cd "50 Blessed Years" came out in 1998, which would mean this video was filmed in 1996...as far as the claim that these aren't The Tommies, the title of the video says REUNION. i think it's fair to say that they weren't singing "My Mind's Made Up" or "Fire Next Time" in 1948, lol
Hi! I'm putting a story together on the history of gospel music in Chicago, featuring Ms. Price for Fox 32 Chicago. Can I please use a clip of this video? Thanks!
The Thompson Community Singers was organized in 1948. that would mean that this recording was done in 1996. Rev. Brunson would have still been alive, since he didn't pass away until April 1, 1997.
@FaithTempleCOGIC PrinceLolow, I would have to agree with you. It might be the choir, but not the right year. The 48th Anniversary was in 2008 wasn't and this is certainly not 2008. Vernon Oliver Price is much older than that now and would have been older than that in 2008. Still enjoyable.
I didn;t regconize any of the lead singers, even though they sang songs sang by the Tommies. I've did look at a few more video and happen to notice the Tommies that I know was in the background wearing black/white. Now the choir in front couldn't be the Tommies, unless they were the original ones back when they were teenage. The botton line is this Church make it apears they're the Tommies.
One of gospels most underrated singers. 🎼🎶🎙️

You're right. These members are from 1948-1979.
@4lyfejj Originally they were COGIC but Loretta became a member of Fellowship. Vernon is still an active member of the COGIC even on a national level.
I can listen to her songs all day!!
Sing Vernon Oliver Price!!!
I Love this Song!!!!
I agree both sisters are anointed singers..
Wonderful! Thanks so much for posting!
What else can say about this God sent woman!!

Can someone post the lyrics
This Choir dosen't not sound or look likes Rev. Milton Burnson Thompson Community Signers. Now someone please tell me.
Most of the choir members sang in the choir from 1948-1979. The current members are from 1982-now.
So what are you saying?
After 48years, I doubt any of us would look and sound the same either...just saying...lol...
