Many of my friends have gone through similar experiences. Unfortunate. Manaki manushula meeda unna namakam pothadhi. You are right - best to buy from stores only, whether refurbished or new. Even refurbished cannot be trusted. Always best to buy new. If one cannot afford, wait till you can afford new and even then get extended warranty if possible.

Actually i like to give you another advice, not only for you, but for anybody who is reading this, buying a mobile from an unknown person is like putting a lock to you home for which he has a spare key secretly, i hope you understand. These people are not experts in computer science, but if anybody is an expert, they can track whatever you do on your phone if you buy such kind of devices.
