I have followed your journey from your Alaska days, watched all your family's early days. I have traveled my own rocky roads and at times it seemed they went on forever. Hay bro when i worked in the bush as a logger here in new zealand there was a trick i use to do to see if it was going rain hard or if it wasn't going to at all and the trick was to hold a cigarette paper out in front of you when the weather was spitting if more then one drop hit the cigarette paper at the same time it was going to pelt down with rain but if only one drop hit the cigarette paper no rain at all.👍🙏you💯💪

Batteries are a pain sometimes and also storage space. I Hiked up Mt Roberts in Juneau with my camera gear to film B-Roll and I'd forgotten to clear the card. My camera didn't have the ability to clear the card so I had 2 minutes of space. I've used 12volt emergency light lead acid batteries before. they're heavy but cheap and run for a long time. That location looks wonderful! It would be nice to spend several days in the woods. Get a chance to unplug for a bit.
