This video answered some of my questions, but not all of them. I'm specifically trying to combine everything I need for every game mode (PvP, Boss vs Boss, all campaigns, etc.) into the Ultimate Tanares Adventure boxes, so I'd like a lot of specific clarifications on things. It definitely doesn't help that I haven't played the original Tanares Adventures (I decided to wait for the Ultimate upgrade) and haven't played Arena the Contest lately either. A. Cards: 1. Is the "Dragon Collection Sidequest / The Queen of Dragons" card removed (since other sidequest cards have been removed)? 2. Is the deck of story/quest cards from Arena the Contest removed, or is it still needed to play the revised Wasteland Expeditions campaign? 3. Are the Legendary Strike, Legendary Ray, Legendary Blade, and Legendary Armor cards removed? 4. Which flask cards are kept and which are removed. There are 15 flask cards from Arena the Contest, and Ultimate Tanares says to use 10 of them. 5. Are the Villain, Evil Power, Boss Spell, Level Up, Artifact, Scroll, and/or 5-card boss decks from Arena the Contest used for anything, including PvP? 6. For heroes that had primary or special attacks replaced between Arena the Contest and Tanares Adventures, which version of their attack is used in PvP? Do players get to choose, or is it always 1 version? 7. The special versions of Gullog the Deathbringer, Harun the Shapeshifter, and The Faceless Emperor are the only heroes that mechanically cannot be played in any campaign mode due to lacking character cards, correct? 8. Is the Object Traits / Overlord Perks help card still used? 9. Are PvP Solo cards still used for anything? They are included in the Ultimate Tanares rulebook component list, but I believe the original Tanares Adventure rulebook said not to use them. 10. Are the hero pads still used in PvP modes? I assume so, but they aren't included in the new rulebook's component list. 11. Which of the 5 large help pads are supposed to be kept? The 5 are labeled: Conditions/Tiles; Conditions/Hero's Turn; Puzzles/Turn of a Hero; Turn of a Villain & Conditions/Symbols; and 1-3 Players (Comrades)/Elements of the Scenario. B. Tokens: 1. The commander hexagonal token has +70 on it's reverse side, but none of the other hexagonal class tokens do (since they are from Arena the Contest). Is that important for anything? 2. Is there any reason to keep the 4 old aid tokens (2 red, 2 blue) for PvP? 3. Are the 24 blue/red status tokens still used for anything? 4. The rulebook says to use 6 round snap-on bases. Which colors should be used? C. Books: 1. Which rulebooks do we need to keep? I can't find mentions of PvP game modes anywhere in the new books, which implies we need to keep the Boss vs Boss book from Dragon Collection and the rulebook from Arena the Contest. But I don't know whether the PvP sections in Arena the Contest's rulebook are out of date in some way. 2. Similarly, are we supposed to keep the Time Twist campaign book from the Penumbral Pack? Ultimate Tanares Adventures seems to have all of the campaign information in the Extras book, but it doesn't include the rulebook section from Time Twist, which seems kind of necessary.
A. Cards: 1. Yes and no. Even in the original Tanares, you had a section in the book that did the same. You can keep it with your adventures as a reminder, it starts a side-quest line. 2. Yes they are removed. The entire Arena campaign has been reworked in Tanares style. 3. Unclear, as the buildings don't tell you you can buy them anymore, but you have different Legendary weapons and abilities instead, so for myself I will probably not use them. 4. Unclear, I kept them all. 5. Scrolls and Artifacts are used in Arena PvP, the rest you can remove, unless you want to play the other scenarios from Arena that aren't part of the campaign, like the Gold Dragon, Dragon Avatar, Hydra, and Elder Dragon fights (if you have them). *Note that the Gold Dragon is used in Tanares but it's a very different fight. The Elder Dragon also has a one-shot quest but it's very different from the original, and doesn't even have boss cards. The Dragon Avatar scenario in Arena requires the Arena cards for all the dragons. 6. In PvP you use the non-TA card. The TA cards were added for abilities that don't make sense in PvE. 7. Yes. 8. No, Overlord perks in TA are different and are listed on the generic boss card (the larger enemy cards). See answer 5 for exception. 9. They are used in Arena PvP to make them PvE. 10. Yes. The new Rulebook doesn't seem to mention anything about Arena PvP, so that's why they aren't there. 11. All of them. B. Tokens: 1. Not particularly. All the TA tokens have +70 because in TA you can exceed 70 HP, and they didn't change the design for the hex token. The hex tokens are used in PvP to differentiate the two teams, and Commander wasn't in the original Arena so TA added the token. If you have the plastic tokens addon, they all have +70. 2. Yes, two for each team. 3. Yes, multiple hero abilities use them for status effects. 4. Dunno. Arena's campaign also used purple and grey bases, but they aren't used anymore afaik. C. Books: 1. Yes, keep the Arena rulebook and the Boss v Boss book. 2. Yes, it doesn't seem to be included for some reason. 3. Also adding in relation to A5, you'll need to keep the Arena's quest book for the Capture the Orb PvP scenario, the Gold Dragon 1v4 scenario, and the Dragon Avatar 1v4 scenario, as well as the quest sheets for the Hydra and Elder Dragon PvE scenarios, if you have them. Disclaimer that I'm not affiliated with Dragori games, those are my interpretations. Also I suggest you do not permanently dispose of anything. Keep them in a box aside in case you realize you (or I) made a mistake. Like I put the Time Twist aside assuming it was in the Extra but it wasn't.
Also adding: I wasn't able to fit all the Arena components in the Ultimate Tanares box with sleeved cards, so I kept the Arena-only stuff in a separate box.
Checking back here, still no answers :( I'm deep into the reboxing and gotta get it all done and labelled by the end of Saturday before the cows come home. (edit: @xtrem5428 seems to have posted at the same time I did so I did not see their thorough reply, thanks!)

Legendary armor and legendary weapon can be replaced with the new legendary cards. 4)you keep all 15 but when playing you can't apply any effect that copies or controls villains. This subject would take more to explain. 5) the video in 2) should answer this. In short, no only artifact and scroll can be used in pvp. 6) these aren't replacements, these are additional cards. The versions that show "TA" at the top corner are intended to be used in PVE and the ones without can be used in PVP or PVE. 7)correct 8)no 9) the solo PvP cards are used for playing solo pvp and are still applicable. 10) Yes they are used for PVP 11) the video in 2) will answer this. B: 1) the versions with 70+ token are the new tokens, if maybe missing tokens if you don't have the other classes without the 70+ on the backside 2) I believe I answered this in the video linked but you can keep them for PvP 3) the "old" condition tokens weren't really used to begin with, this was just ask for by the community during Arena 1.5. You can use them to track conditions if you want but you don't really need it since it's written on the cards. 4) Use the colors for the villains that will appear in the quest, if you have 2 villains with the same color you would use a round and hex snap on base to track the difference. C: 1) Yes keep the dragon collection rulebook and the Arena pvp rulebook, these are still up to date. 2)Yes keep the time twist book as all that content is completely separate from the other books.
