That head is actually one of the greatest Venom heads I’ve seen ever. I’m completely serious. As much as I like Todd, Mark Bagley Venom is my favorite comic Venom, and this head is straight up Bagley. So whatever you do with the body, SAVE THAT HEAD! It’s too good to get rid of. I kinda wanna see the Sony Venom repainted with the classic design (which pretty much everyone has done already) but with that head. The head already looks perfect swapped onto that body, so with the classic design, and different feet, that’d be the Ultimate Mark Bagley Venom.
Yeah man, the movie venom repainted to comic version looks awesome! I've seen plenty of those custom too.. I got this just for the head actually (and to review it too lol)
Too bad about the articulation and weak feet, because otherwise the figure looks better than most Venom action figures and the head straight up looks fantastic on the Sony movie figure. The various logos and other stuff on the packaging are hilarious, and seem like they're designed to either confuse buyers or make them think it's a legit product. Which in terms of quality it comes so close to being, compared to many bootlegs.
it has great sculpt, if you fiddle to adapt the articulation you can make him more posable, as it looks the distance in the joints are too short to allow full reach of the articulation
One of the best Venom heads in this scale, better in some ways than official ones. Will try to costumize its feet and hands (I have many spare Venom parts from different lines). I may manage to make it more accurate (with regular feet and hands with white squares...I have a gut feeling Select parts might work) this can potentially become one of the greatest looking Venoms. I might also use this head on a kit bash Venom body I made out of Toybiz/ Diamond Select parts.

Also this head should look great on the new upcoming Hasbro Animated Venom. This head will convert that figure into a perfect comic venom after one put white squared hands on it from the old Hasbro Venom.
It looks like the forearms are actually the wrong way around I can tell because of the way the muscles are sculpted on them. If it were me, I would swap the forearm pieces to the opposite sides.
I think that the packaging is a lazily edited neca pacific rim product hence the crimson gypsy jaeger jargons on the packaging. but yeah ive been seeing a lot of these floating on local online shops. it's an interesting closer look to this bootleg venom but not one that im most interested in adding to my marvel legends collection.
@@Stillfigurineout nah, i find the head kind of ugly anyways plus the paint is too glossy for the regular ML venom body. after watching ur whole video about this fig, the whole figure is just laughable with all the useless efforts of whichever company who made this with its stupid articulation, like what's up with the double ball peg on everything, I was just surprised they didn't double ball pegged the knees as well :D :D

This video was from a few years ago, amd figure was from a few years further back 😅.. scammed as in you paid a lot but got this figure instead of some other venom figure? Cos if it was cheap, it still is a decent figure, articulation aside
@@Stillfigurineout I got it for around US$28. Marvel Legends or older Toybiz toys are quite difficult to find over here so I thought I found something nice, the figure itself looks amazing as well. I didn’t know it was a knockoff. I noticed some strange things on the box but I couldn’t figured out what. I started collecting Spider-Man and Venom figures not long ago so I don’t know what the older figure’s boxes look like. I guess I can still love this one and maybe call it Benom instead. Oh, and I actually like the toes lol, I like Venom when it is more monster-like.
@@Stillfigurineout It was from a local toy store here. US20~40 is kinda the price range for Marvel Legends here. Like for the new Hellvarine (Weapon of Vengeance) it is around US30. I also am using a currency calculator app to convert my local currency to US dollar so could be not accurate at all.
