Like I would cry too. Watching this makes me so happy and puts a genuine smile on my face seeing the fans and H.O.T together once again like can you imagine this happening with Big Bang and the other 2nd generation groups? It's so amazing but it's so hard to put into words

Never thought they would perform together again. I cried every time when i was watching this video. They are not just Kpop idols for us, they are a mark in our teenage years. A lot good memories came back with their music and dance. Thank you H.O.T, for being a part of my life, and you guys brought me so much positive energy.

@@vintagexparadise i think they disbanded due to misunderstandings at the time. Something about the parents were the driving force as well as how some were signed before others fueling the start of the misunderstanding and the perception of bias/favoritism etc. Or so I read, not sure if its true

Im huge h.o.t fan in korea is normal to lipsinging lol but when they had to do some concert they perform live , true they sound as goood as the cd audio studio lol if you check on youtube most of the footage are lipsigning but in the concert 2.2.7 they sing all the song live was really impressive!

I agree that they are fantastic and this is a fantastic performance! :D But there are some amazing modern K-pop singers, too (ex: Lee Hongki). If you have not seen any of FT Island's performances, you are missing out on some incredible live vocals!

Agree with you, since 2nd gen, kpop doesn't have a vocal we can say is superlative, just comercial voices with lot's of autotune.
There are lots of good kpop singers nowadays too, specially in 2nd gen since they have more experience, kpop is more competitive than it was back then, so there are some amazing singers
17 years since their disbandment yet here they are as full of energy and passion as ever.
As someone who literally just discovered H.O.T, I’m sobbing at this. This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen. Just look at the audience, think about how many times they’ve sighed to themselves throughout the years, thinking about how much they wish to see their favourite idols together on the stage again, and they’re finally here now.

i met HOT in 1998, my dads friend was up there in MBC, got my sister and i to meet them in person, it was like meeting gods, ill never forget that night at top10, they were surrounded by staff, security, and managers, only had time for a autograph and a handshake from tony but see all them in front of me was unreal, im really fortunate to have been alive and around in the mid 90s in corea

Ahhh the first time I listened to kpop was in 96! Of course Tony was my bias! Kids these days don't how hard it was being a international kpop fan in the 90s. We had no TH-cam! Lol Only CDs and MV Heaven that would play at 1am 😭 Edit: Yes During the 90s, K-pop music videos broadcasted in the states but it was on the international channel, and their CDs were sold in Morning Glory, which I don’t even think exist any more LOL. I’m old. 😂 But let me tell you, H.O.T was popular because they had a positive message for the youth. I honestly believe BTS is popular for the same reason. (Pay attention to the lyrics) They’re music actually ‘meant’ something. ❤ H.O.T got me through my depression as a youth. I will always love and be thankful to them.

I only knew them out of Reply 1997 and my mom was head over heels for Kangta and seeing them again makes me cry I showed this to my mom she legit ugly sobbed when she saw her first love before TVXQ. Now imagine the 2nd gen groups coming back like this I would really cry like their fans.

Legendary first generation of Kpop H.O.T coming back for a reunion is so moving. This being their first time back all together as a group, performing for their long-time fans is making me bawl my eyes out.
I wonder what it felt like for the members to be together and perform together again? They must be so happy seeing how much love they still receive to this day, despite how long they've been apart.

I loved these guys when I was a teenager. I didn't learn about them until the summer of 1998 when my cousin who lived in South Korea came for a visit. She brought her H.O.T. CDs and I was never the same. :)

i literally cried during the whole episode. i mean, i can srsly feel the sincerity and longing between HOT and the White Angels. these words still ring in my head "we've been waiting for a long time"... i suddenly thought my Super Junior boys. I've been an ELF for 10 years now and I can't imagine how it's going to be if they announce a disbandment which I dont really think will ever happen. But anyway, this ToToGa 3 was really meaningful. Same here. I'm a 2005 one and the stuff back then was way better. Back then we had fandoms that actually had minds and live sound in all karaoke machines, now we have overrated groups with brainless stans and a karaoke brand that puts ads in their songs.
For me a SM Family stan this felt like an old generation family reunion 😭❤️... Stanning SM groups has similar vibes, that heartwarming feeling is amazing!

I'm a little sad as to what K-Pop has become. This style, this was K-Pop. The real K-Pop. Sure, nowadays' Korean Pop Music is still great, I'm a big fan of both second and third generation groups, but what they are doing is often not even near this. Yes, music develops, but this was K-Pop once. And I miss it.

Same. It changed so much. Before, even before you hear the lyrics you'll know right away that it's KPOP. It was distinct and unique then. 😧
Kpop back then was made by musicians who weren't afraid to experiment. H.O.T.'s Resurrection album is really unique. I'd actually consider it avant-garde. Modern Kpop is just the same formula over and over. Not to say there is never a nice or well written song but for every one good song there are probably hundreds which are nothing but dross.

aw I’m not even ashamed of being only 20 years old. I love H.O.T so much and I’ll always love them. It’s not only admiration or respect, is more than that. I’m crazy for them lmao and I noticed it the moment I watched those 2 episodes of Infinity Challenge and then the concert and OMG. I usually scream a lot watching concerts but this one I swear I cried like a baby. I cried real tears. Those fans are definitely the best fans ever for waiting so long. I could feel their pain and tears. International kpop fans don’t always assimilate that when they hear someone name the group “H.O.T” on TV shows or when they watch a song cover, but at least in South Korea the people know these boys (now men) were, are, and forever will be real Legends and that’s the only thing I need to know

I wasn't a fan (obviously because they debuted before I was born and disbanded a few months before I was born)(but I am now) but this whole episode had me sobbing. This is honestly the best Infinity Challenge episode I've ever watched. I wish Suju and SS501 will reunite like this too one day in the future
