Daniel walks us through exactly how he likes to set up his Salvage Custom Pedalboard. Every pedalboard we make comes standard with one input jack, one output jack, internal patch boxes, switched AC power and a slotted, low profile velcro top.
There are many different philosophies for organizing a signal chain. This video is only detailing how our fearless leader likes to do it. There really is no "right way" just the way that's right for you.
Feel free to ask questions in the comments. We'll do our best to answer.

A ground loop is caused by powered units being connected together in a single signal chain while being powered from points where the grounds are at a different potential. I don't see how a daisy chain can cause a ground loop, because the points in the chain are all at the same potential. Daisy chains will cause problems if there is not enough current to drive the chain or if a noisy pedal somehow causes noise on the power bus, thereby sharing it's noise with other pedals on that chain. Please explain what you think you mean...?

This is a great set up. Watched the case video too. Very cool. When you’re doing the cable set up for this, on your very first box you link it to a small box that’s attached to the exterior edge of the underside of the pedal board. You have one on the other side too. What is that box? Thank you for all the great info. You are very thorough.

Have 13 pedals on my board and just plug in 3 on each side when I'm not lazy to carry extras. L O L. Let's see if a $150 unit will do that quietly.

Solid core cables are terrible for patch purposes because if you overstrain the cable when moving it around it dies easily. There's a reason why audio cables are always stranded and solid core cable are mainly used for electrical wiring.
Advertising a cable as being solid core as an advantage is not just marketing snake oil, it's also dumb.
