I am 61 and this show by far is the best show I have ever watched. I just can't stand how long we have to wait between seasons. Why aren't we watching the 2nd half of season 7? I did not like how they split it. The love making scenes between Jamie and Claire is like no other. Wasn't dirty, but showed the intense need for each other. I could relate....lol Please hurry up and give the fans what we have been waiting for.

I love the series. I hope for the series to include Jamie and Claire. I don’t want it to end. All of the actors are spectacular. This series is genuine. It has been a great part of my life and I’m sure that it has affected others in the same way, I am asking the producers and other members who are influential to consider season 9 and season 10.
@kathyettkins8599 Yes I too fell in love with this series. I was very surprised that I would love it so much! My husband sometimes walks into our bedroom and I’m either crying, laughing or screaming for Jamie to rescue Claire/ or vice versa 😂😂😂 I love how they change the singers for the opening Theme Song as well. My favorite one was when they sounded like a choir was singing it, so beautiful. This show is SO WORTHY of going to a 10th Season! I had no idea just how much I needed this show, I don’t want it to end…… EVER 😂🙏🏽
I'm 68 years old. I have seen a lot of TV, but Outlander is the best TV show ever. I'm so heartbroken that the 8th season will be the last. It could have easily included more content and gone on for years. So much content from the books wasn't included especially noticeable in S 6 and 7. Those seasons were rushed to the point of being not the same story. It's too long between seasons, but that started because of COVID. I'm sad 😭😭😭.
Don't worry, they'll doing a spin-off about Jamie's parents.

I totally agree. And yes, Covid made a mess of things, however they did the best they could with what little resources they had to give us a short season . Better than nothing, but now, hopefully, they will elaborate in season
part 2 of season 7.

I'm pretty sure I won't see the final season. I have found that it's the elders who enjoy Outlander, especially those who live alone. It surely gives us something to watch.
I'm 58 and I've read literally thousands of books but the Outlander books. I've read them all several times and have started over again. It's my absolute favorite series, or movie or TV show! I've watched every episode every chance I get. (I don't have cable or internet for streaming available in the rural area where I live 😢)
I have to agree with everyone that this is THE best show on TV BUT I'm SO very sad that this show has consistently been snubbed by the awards shows for the quality ALL AROUND for the show - acting, writers, costumers, directing, producers, etc! This show has been robbed of MANY AWARDS and so have the many actors!
I just started watching this show and it is blowing my mind 😃 I’m happy that I am late to the party because I am addicted and there is no way I could have waited for each episode every week 😂 I love these characters so much ❤
None if his fans want to see it come to an end, but im sure there are other projects they would like to pursue, and outlander would keep them tied up to much, as it takes almost a year to do one season. I am a big fan but understand the need to bring it. To an end. We can always watch Sam and Caitriona in other projects.
Cuando terminé de ver outlander tomé un tiempo para ver. Sam en otro proyecto y vi SAS. Ahí vi que ciertamente su química con caitriona es única. Con la coprotagonista de esa película no tenia ni un poco de afinidad.

I'm pretty sure that Sam and Cait would like to do different projects. I hope Blood of My Blood is a success, but Sam and Cait are the heart of Outlander I can't imagine any spinoff
having the popularity that Outlander has... But I could be wrong..
In the books there is a spin off spy series with their shared secret society with Jamie and Lord Grey.
They get missions from their secret society and investigate paranormal phenomena & Jamie & Lord John try to understand how the stones work.
Best series ever.sorry to see it end but will rewatch the series over and over like I already have. Great acting and love all the characters..I welcome them into my home. Greatest love story too!

Where the hell is 2nd half or Season 7! I love this show but the way they been putting these episodes out - it is surprising they are not losing watchers!
As a book reader I am mostly waiting for the last book and how will the final conclusion be for this great storyline. How and when they make this visual in the TV series, probably very well, but indeed it take a long time. I am going on 76 and hope to be still there for all the rest. The last book must come soon.
The story will end ( DG) arround 1800, Claire would be about 82 than and Jamie 76, thats a beautiful age to end in that period and hopefully they die together.
What are your thoughts on a Lord Grey spin off series with Lord Grey and Jamie?
Since the books exist and the writer is alive to make sure the screen and script writers don’t stray too far from the source material.
Well , Since I read all the Lord John novels I think there is plenty of source material to make a Lord John spin off? For me almost essential is that the protagonist will be an actor very similar to the one in Outlander. Difficulties will be the moments he encounters Jamie and Claire, as those actors will be passed the age of those moments. @@grahamparks3038

I saw the real older version of Sam and Claire. San still looks good, and Claire shows aging in this picture. Why do guys seem to age so nicely. Claire could have had her hair up and not look so haggard.

In Buch 9 hat Jamie zwar etwas Grau in seinen Haaren, ist aber immer noch rothaarig.
Claire ist an den Schläfenseiten weiß. Ansonsten dominiert noch in verschiedenen Farben ihr braun.
Eine Serie über Lord John Grey wäre mit Sicherheit sehr interessant, da es Bücher darüber gibt.
Eine Serie über Jamies Eltern ganz bestimmt auch.
Doch alles muss erst mal verfilmt werden, und das wird dauern.
Was die 8. Staffel anbelangt, so kann man nur hoffen, daß ein würdiges Ende für Jamie und Claire kommt.
In Buch 9 leben sie noch.

Again the producers found a reason to postpone the event. I don't think many are willing to accept so many delays and simply give up waiting and watching the movie when released. It seems like a mockery addressed to the fans and audience all over the world..
I pray I can get to read book 10 I love the books so much more detail I love the shows too but I do the shows would follow the books more like jemmy he has really red hair like his mother and grandfather and Amanda has really curly hair like Clair I really hate to see this show end I’ve loved a show like this one

Heb de hele serie boeken een paar keer gelezen. De serie op Netflix was een aangename verrassing. Ik hoop dat er nog vele delen volgen, hier krijg ik geen genoeg van!
Wel, eindelijk eens een Nederlandse reactie, heb je de boeken in het Engels of het Nederlands gelezen? Ik heb er één geprobeerd in het ENgels, , je kent dan al wel de verhaallijn maar ik denk dat ik teveel van het schrijven mis als ik Engels lees. Hetzelfde met de TV reeks, ik kijk eerst met ondertittels en dan eens zonder, dan zie je maar hoe slecht de ondertitteling soms is.

Outlander needs to continue beyond Season 8. The fans are hoping for this to occur. It’s a part of our lives. I understand that Claire and Jamie want to explore other things but the fans will be devastated without it, myself included. I hope that those decision making people will reconsider.
Huge fan of Outlander. I love that they incorporated so much historical content. It made me aware of the role Scottish people made in US independence. Looking forward to seeing the second half of 7 and then 8. But, there seems to be little mention of the second half of 7. Has it been produced? When will it be available?

I am sad to think that I will not live to see the last episode to Outlander. Of course I have all the books so far. My biggest wish is to see a better ending for Book 9. I so want to see a real coming together between Jamie and his son. The last words of the 9th book was a big disappointment. That is the only negative I have about Outlander as a book and a movie.

For one reason, they get older in the books . begin book 8 they are about 60 years old, in that period of time thats old
Gave up on Outlander because too much porn in it. It's a shame, great actors and actresses, wonderful stories, but can't stand the full on sex that has nothing to do with the story and is like being a voyeur.
