That pick toss between the legs should be legendary.

@@jeffha1836 I literally just started listening to this song regularly again after such a long time and now I have a reply to a comment I left 2 years ago. This world can be weird. Keep rocking!

Just went over everybody's head. Too good to be appreciated. It happens. Great rock band. Butch landed on his feet, so it's all cool.

3 piece bands RULE! These guys were next level. My beginner band opened for M3 in 1996 in Sacramento - Bojangles (burned down, great venue), I swear he's Elvis, I think. They were UNREAL live, and Jason was SUPER nice, Butch was even nicer, Slug didn't give us much time of day, but was cordial and polite 👍 - "tell me I sold out, GO AHEAD"...

HAHA!!! Did anybody catch the "Loverboy" pose that Butch flashed? The crossed fingers behind the back with the red leather pants?? LMAO!!!

Ron Williams I definitely saw that and wondered what it was! That’s it though you nailed it, 100% correct! I also saw when Jayce got on his knees and tossed the pick up through Butch’s legs! Love those guys.

Damn! Jayce and Slug are just fucking amazing! Obviously Butch as well but they are PERFECTLY complimentary.

Why is the color so saturated? Is this one of those nth generation tapes?

and/or it could've been recorded in the SLP mode on a VCR. There were 3 record modes - 2 hour (SP) 4 hour (EP) and 6 hour (SLP) and alot of people who didn't care about quality recorded on the slowest mode to maximize tape usage thus resulting in a not so great picture and diminished audio fidelity.

The band were great but the sound engineer should have been given the night off. Lol.

Tony Copley can steal Butch's band, but he'll never be Butch Walker.

There’s some really great covers of this song on TH-cam. Bette than the real version imo..

Maybe too theatrical. Maybe if they performed their great pop songs in an understated way, like Weezer, things would have been different.

That would have been a damn shame if Butch didn't bring his incredible energy to live performances. He's a great songwriter, but he's an INSANE performer. They were probably too polished to fall in with the pop-punk generation, and too outgoing and upbeat to fall in with the alt rock crowd, but even if they weren't the worldwide superstars they probably should have been, their fanbase devotion and loyalty is second to none.

@@redskullz1249 I saw him live 5 or 6 years ago at a small venue in St. Louis. He had a cold, but was a trooper. No Marvelous 3 songs and he only played electric piano. So ... no theatrics. Disappointing, actually.
