Back in school, when the game was just released, I'd spend the days trading stories with my best friend about our adventures in Skyrim. He was a stealth archer khajit siding with the empire and I was a warrior mage breton supporting the nords. We'd craft our own theories about the mysterious disappearence of the dwemer, laugh about new bugs we discovered, argue about which side of the conflict was right, craft alternative endings to the dumb blades questline where you have to kill a certain beloved dragon, how the dragonborn's retirement would look like... I look back at those memories fondly. I can imagine myself entering the bannered mare, looking for a hot meal and shelter from the rain, and suddenly see him sitting there with a grin. We share a few bottles of ale and we pick up where we left off, as if not a day has passed by.

This is a wonderful video. Aside from the music and sound, the gentle meandering of the camera around the inn really makes it. Is there (or will there be) a similar video with winter wind/blizzard ambience inside an inn? Maybe in Candlehearth Hall or The Frozen Hearth?

Very nice. I do think this would be good with a stronger low pass filter setting on the rain however. the rain has a lot of crunch range to it and sounds as though it's hitting a very thin roof, but this building looks very thick and cosey. I think a very dampened, dark rain sound would make it very cosey and warm, and then the crackle of the fire will pronounce itself.
I do love thinking that anyone w.o. Shelter from the rain can come in.i can see a person taking shifts through out the night to be a lookout and bartender.i wonder how long it will rain.either way I’m sleeping on the rug.good night my friends. Hope morning brings the sun. God bless

This game is genius and timeless. Although the competition is steep (CDPR, Warhorse Studios, even Rockstar with RDR2, but as I get older, I love the freedom this game grants me. If I want to slay monsters, I can do that. If I want to craft armor and sell it, I can do that. If I want to hang out in the tavern, drinking and eating for a weekend, I can f***ing do that!😅)

This game is genius and timeless. Although the competition is steep (CDPR, Warhorse Studios, even Rockstar with RDR2, but as I get older, I love the freedom this game grants me. If I want to slay monsters, I can do that. If I want to craft armor and sell it, I can do that. If I want to hang out in the tavern, drinking and eating for a weekend, I can f***ing do that!😅)
I agree with you my friend! I enjoy lots of other games but none ever really compare to Bethesda the elder scrolls, oblivion and Skyrim are timeless classics and in a whole league of their own 😎 thank you for watching my video ☮️⛈
