  • This is my Cub Cadet 1772 with the Kubota D640 diesel engine, And my Cub Cadet 782D with the Kubota D600 engine trying to start on a cold Febuary day. It was 20 deg F early morning and showedc24 deg F when I tried starting. Even tho it was a fail it was fun trying.

@user-se6oh6dc7q It was one of the best ideas MTD ever came up with. They were the 1st to use a diesel. I understand why they put it in a 782 because the 782 was most popular, But why did it take so long to put it in a super? My only guess is they thought it would be underpowered, But Deere beat them with the 430. Later they made a 1572 with same engine. Oh well. The 782D is a great classic.

I like the dual camera angles! That's a great idea. Those two Kubota's just weren't having it. I would definitely look into the glow plug solenoid upgrade on both tractors as it will save a lot of wear on the starter and battery. I was preparing to do that upgrade on my 882 but sold the tractor before I got around to it.

Im going to do the glow plug solenoid now after this video. I think it will help a lot. I have been trying to learn more about video editing. I zm trying to make better videos. I have finally found the duel video screen. It takes more time to edit, But it does give a better video. Im trying, But I am a analog guy living in a digital world. Glad you liked it. I am planning on doing it in future videos.
