Storytime (very sad may be disturbing):
I had this chicken named Helen who would come when I called her name and always run up to me when I got home. I loved her so much. But the thing is, I live with my mum. My mum has a dog, so I made sure that the chicken coop was well reinforced (she goes in there when I’m not home so that my mum’s dog doesn’t get her). I went to school one morning about a week ago. Apparently, while I was gone and my mum was at home, ‘the dog wanted to meet Helen soo badly’, so my mum let Helen out of the chicken coop. Apparently the dog didn’t harm her and was fine with her so my mum went to the shops. I came back home to see Helen, my beloved closely bonded companion’s blood covered crushed body ripped in two on my bed in my room. The dog was asleep on his bed in the lounge. I was still screaming and crying when my mum got home from the shops shortly after. I’m traumatised. I miss her. I’m furious at my mum. I don’t know what else to say.
