Powerful statement: A lot of times when we’re playing at our trauma over and over again we’re looking for what we didn’t get that we really needed when it happened and the people that remind us of the people that didn’t give it to us when it happened

I hate the fact some people trying to push you at therapist like that’s what you need in the negative way but in reality you’re looking more a coach or a good friend and not a friendnemy”

So good to hear they're talking about psichology, trauma, ect. I had such a bad formation, my mum and dad (even though my dad it's so old school sometimes is judgy) are great but in school teachers where terrible and headmasters too...The used to shame us and send us to therapy but without explanation, so we couldn't talk and there was also bullying all the time by older students. So, getting older i had to keep on learning to take care of my mind, to stand up for myself i had a lot of trauma, and thankfully now i'm really assuming changes to get better in life constantly. :)

Hi frieds at BossBabe, would you please change the video thumbnail to another more appropriate title? It is impossible for anyone to "heal trauma in 30 minutes", and this is a bit insulting to survivors. Otherwise, this episode was amazing, incredible, and very moving. Lots to take in and go back to. @bossbabe

What happens if we choose someone who reminds us of our parent but is not like them, but the triggers come up. My partner has similarities to my dad but he is very supportive and we try and heal together. Still it’s so painful. Am I in the right relationship. I am confused and not sure if I can trust myself with this person.

I'm trying to understand if The Work Christine and Alexi are talking about here is anything to do with The Work of Byron Katie?

It's similar. The outcome is the same, but the tools used to get there may be different.
