In terms of longevity and efficiency, the best set up is: Full Elite Void - Parchmented, DHCB, Ranging Cape [t] with Vorkath Head, Anguish, and Dragonfire Ward (Boots can be either Devout or Pegasian) This results in very minimal risk, and you can stay at KBD substantially longer than any T Bow set up, resulting in more kills per hour.
Lastly, using Ghorrock Teleport is ideal - you teleport up without being in view of most PKers.
I've never once seen someone take a t bow to kbd in over 5k kills and 4 years of game time

@@razorcloud1 ....you make more killing brutal black dragons than the KING black dragon mate. The brutals are super afk and you can avoid all damage. They're also right by an altar. KBD slams you with all types of attacks and drains your stats. Not to mention he's in the wilderness.

@@marque_iii3859 But you can access and kill KBD a lot earlier than BBDs, so it makes sense for BBD to have better loot. kBD is basically the first boss that every new player kills, it doesn’t need to be good gp/hr

@marque_iii3859 killing brutal reds with a dhcb is just as good or a little better than kbd ffs with 0 requirements more afk and decent loot buffing kbd drops would make it better I have the kbd pet so you'll never see me at kbd ever again lol
Got me reliving my KBD grind! It was the first boss I went after as a we noog and got spooned hard, 615kc to complete the collection log :D

The fang is slightly better at KBD, I've been switching between them for the past 2 days (clan bingo, going for visage). You can also wear the lightbearer ring to make it even better, but I prefer the primordial boots because it's more AFK not specing every few seconds.

If the monster shares a drop with the rdt the monster log drop will drop on bones. The rdt drop will drop to the side of the bones. That's how you tell which drop table the item came from

I have to ask, how do you not own a tbow yet? You’ve been grinding this game out for so long and generally bossing is pretty profitable. Even if you don’t do them 100% efficiently at your hours you could definitely own a tbow right? Not trying to flame you or anything just curious
Last week my buddy took my to duo kbd for my first boss. I got d pick under my name at 7kc. I think it was maybe 16 kills from when we started. Got very lucky.
u can use max gear with no risk basically bring avarice and 3 valuable items ( bring dfs ferocious) inside kbd equip avarice and suicide to kbd then bring lance tort prims nezzy faceguard and boom u can use max gear with 0 risk if u want u can keep suiciding food piles to extend ur ttrip
Back in the day, the shield left half would have been several mils as D Sq was best in slot for a long time.

I really like this boss for the slayer task, im 70-75 base melee normally hes quite hard to hit but with slayer helm he becomes decent, and a chance for the pet :)

I started killing the kbd 3 days ago to get the heads and I got the pet at 56 kc. I'm around 110kc and no heads yet, but I'll get them soon hopefully.

Yeah the issue was since classic came "back out" was all the new players who never had played Runescape original since it first came out, they would vote yes on every poll.. It didn't matter what the Poll was for, these new players would just click yes. There is no OLD School Runescape. Old school runescape should have been free originally. But they stated 300k players needed to support it. Over 500k players did, but they decided they would not make money from it.
