NSU Prinz Sport. Renovation of the 1963 Corgi model.

- In 1963, Corgi began producing a small sports car model, the NSU Prince Sport. The model was produced until 1966 in two shades: cherry red and metallic red brown. My model had a cracked windshield and for many years it was lying in a forgotten place, which is why it required a thorough renovation. I made a new windshield from PET plastic, new tires from molding polyurethane and other work related to restoring this model to its factory condition. To achieve the effect of a fully finished toy, I made a box as usual, based on the original Corgi packaging. Thank you for your interest in my channel, I publish videos of car repairs on TH-cam on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The film has subtitles, subtitles can be turned on in the settings on your mobile phone, on your desktop computer and on your TV.

Mam dość nieprzyjemne wspomnienia z tym samochodem...
Jako dzieci bawiliśmy się z przyjacielem takim samochodem. (Mam na myśli prawdziwy pojazd, a miałem wtedy pięć lat 🙄)...
Nasz „problem”: samochód był całkiem nowy i należał do sąsiada…
Następnie moi rodzice wyjaśnili mi, że coś takiego jest „niemiłe”... (Ouch)
Cóż, historia miała miejsce ponad 50 lat temu i od tego czasu wiele się nauczyłem o życiu 🤣
O tym modelu:
Tak, kolejna pierwszorzędna robota, a czerwono-brązowy metalik wygląda bardzo elegancko. Jak zawsze cudownie przerobione „oryginalne opakowanie”. 🤩

I have a somewhat unpleasant memory of this car...
A mate and I played with a car like this when we were kids. (I mean the real vehicle and I was five years old at the time 🙄)...
Our "problem": The car was fairly new and belonged to a neighbor...
My parents then explained to me that something like that was "not nice"... (Ouch)
Well, the story was over 50 years ago and since then I have learned a lot about life 🤣
About this model:
Yup, another first class resto and the reddish brown metallic looks very classy. As always, the wonderfully remade "original packaging". 🤩

Ich hab da eine, etwas unangenehme, Erinnerung an dieses Auto...
Ein Freund und ich haben , als Kinder, mit genauso einem Auto gespielt. (Ich meine das reale Fahrzeug und ich war damals fünf Jahre alt 🙄)...
Unser "Problem": Der Wagen war ziemlich neu und gehörte einem Nachbarn...
Meine Eltern haben mir dann erklärt, daß sowas "nicht schön" ist... (Autsch)
Nunja, die Geschichte ist über 50 Jahre her und seitdem habe ich viel über das Leben gelernt 🤣
Zu diesem Modell:
Yup, wieder eine erstklassige Arbeit und das Rotbraunmetallic sieht sehr edel aus. Wie immer, die wundervoll neugefertigte "Originalverpackung". 🤩

There used to be a joke in The Netherlands that NSU was short for 'Na Starten Uitgeput' which means 'exhausted after starting'.
Another car brought back to life, as usual! Well done Paul.
In Italy NSU was the favorite car of bank robbers against the Alfa Romeo of police corps. NSU Prinz was considered also one of the worst looking cars, even if It was reliable and his Motor was powerful

I remember that little car - a classic Corgi of its time! The one I had was the same paint as the Mercedes 600 Pullman and the Citroen LeDandy. Really interesting choice of model, unique I think, to Corgi at the time, when so many others were made by other manufacturers: Mercedes 600, Mini, Beetle - to name but three.

To really let everyone know how long it actually takes, you should label each day. Just some text on the screen; "Day-1: Disassembly and Paint Removal.", etc... Because I know that it takes several days to complete a project and you as a TH-cam content creator have to juggle many projects just to keep content flowing.
What is the size of the screws you are using to put the model together again?
