I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Corticchiato about 2 weeks ago, when he gave a talk here in Bordeaux. Not only are his creations wonderful, he also comes a cross as a delightful man. Charming, passionate, and without any pretentiousness. He talked quite frankly about how he feels about the industry as well. Unfortunately this summer love was way too heady for me.
Gunpowder and vanilla combination sounds so fun and intriguing. Lot of new scents on your channel recently. Need to catch up on other videos as well :)
Funnily enough, while it’s ALWAYS scorching in Sri Lanka, we’re having a lovely summer! It’s like a Goldilocks summer ! Not too hot, not too rainy.. (didn’t want to say cold, as it’s NEVER cold)
wow, this is the first time i've ever tried something you review, before you've reviewed it - and it turns out, on the same day! 😅i put on un bel amour d'ete this morning, and have been watching your video this afternoon. i get way more magnolia from this than gardenia. (i have a gardenia bush in my yard, and magnolia trees in the park near my house... so i feel like i know the scent of both fairly well. and yes, gardenia is a summer bloom) also, i find it leaning on the side of light vs. rich/heavy, which i think is notable given that it's a white flower scent.

Hi Mr. P. Last year I tried a different Bastille discovery set. I loved all the frags but I didn't buy any because they were very subdued on me (I have a "difficult skin") and imo they were designed to perform well in warm climates and I live in bloody cool/cold Brussels...
I’m in Colorado in the US, and it’s 98 degrees Fahrenheit today! It has been a hot spring and summer here too. I am gravitating to orange blossom scents in response.

I'm in the Northeastern part of the states, and yeah this whole week has been 95-98 degrees Fahrenheit and at least 80% humidity (35-37 Celsius)
