IMHO, this is one of your most important videos, Jeff, thanks!! (Even though you never even mention that sweet Seiko.) Thoughtful and insightful, and nicely suggests the complexity of the issues here, which we are just beginning to grapple with and understand.
Fascinating! I'm about to start a new school year of teaching art. Waiting to see if there are any similar "modes" my art students may try to use AI on their art assignments.
Interesting discussion and kick ass Seiko Tuna, by the way. I have concerns about the future of AGI. Being a professional software engineer, however, it replacing my job is not one of these concerns. I don’t see it programming itself any time soon - at least not before I retire. I think anyone who has written a line of code in their lifetime, and knows the complexity and creativity involved in real software development, would probably agree.
This is fascinating. I’d like to hear (much) more. How do you go about using chat GPT in collaborative mode, specifically? How could it be used to provide colleague-like feedback on an essay? What is the maximum size of the document in an accessible version of the software? On a separate note, I think having to write unassisted will remain a skill that may be used to screen people out from certain jobs, much as prestigious university degrees are now used. Curious what you think about this.
Investment people are freaking out a out AGI. Once memory is fully integrated it's IQ will jump to around 400. Talk round the campfire is that by 2030 investing and reading as we do now will be over. Blackrock already using Aladdin for it's trades. UBI cometh even for the rich folk.
Excellent topic and great thoughts, Jeffrey. Very helpful to me personally.
Writing, as a form of creative personal expression, should continue to thrive wherever human spirit remains alive.
Nice, thanks for sharing.

Great content and delivery, Jeff.
Thanks for the vid. I prefer this life talks (watches and otherwise) to the reading.

It will write in the style you ask, so it can collaborate with already existing content.
